With the Alien Brothers not competing, MXDN is looking competitive for the win.

Imagine if Belgium stopped pretending that it was a real country and Flanders was part of the Netherlands.

You'd have Herlings, Coenen brothers, De Wolf, Coldenhoff, Everts, Vlaanderen, Geerts, and many more riders eligible for the same team. They'd be unstoppable

Or the other way round? Netherlands stopped pretending to be a country! Ha.

Just crazy how many champions were Belgians over the years. I mean for its size. Germany took decades to get a world champion.

I don't see the US on the podium. Simply put, we are lacking three healthy, on-form, top riders right now.

RJ is closer to deegan than deegan to Hunter or Jett….

So

RJ

Eli if healthy and up to speed by last race.  Otherwise J Coop if ready

deegan 250 - pay your dues and show you are part of team USA…if not willing 250….Juju has earned it before Hymas

Sadly, I don't think RJ is an option because Husky’s going away. If he was only switching teams, they could probably work something out (i.e Chase at Honda), but as of Oct. 1, the team won’t exist anymore.

Yea…I know…maybe extend Team RJ Husky for a few more days…or maybe put the Husky under the KTM tent if they have to….and it would be a big ask for a dark red bike to be available and to ask RJ to jump on it with min prep…but if anyone would take it on…it’s RJ.

^^^none of this will happen though…just wishful thinking..

Speaking of…..calling U.S. Citizen kick start Kenny!!!!  Mike P needs to talk to you…no..not a penalty or fine…pick up please..

Belgium is really a powerhouse nation for sporting, their football team is highly impressive given their size. In motocross though it's another level, they've produced a ridiculous amount of world champions for their size

Board is full of Americans that don't even look at the results of the GPs but even when Lucas Coenen shows up on a track he's never ridden, on a bike that isn't his, in a series he's never raced in and straight up beats Hunter the people on this board still don't consider that maybe Hunter and Jett are beatable.

Not to mention them crowning Deegan the best 250 rider in the world when he never raced one outside of America and the MX2 class is much deeper when considering Sacha Coenen's results and comparing the gaps between positions. On top of that you can also make the case for 3 guys in MX2 being faster than Sacha

what position was Lucas in when he wadded up in the second moto?

Is Tomac even interested?  He has been six times.  He is retiring after SX next year.

I wouldn’t pick him. All due respect, but we’re set to get smacked this year as it is, and he’s not riding like his usual self with very little time to improve. I hope he takes the time to prep for SX anyway.

It’d be a disgrace to NOT send a team.

MX1 - Deegan

MX2 - Kitchen

MX3 - Webb (if Star will see him through the event, not sure with him going to Tedder)

Alternate - Barcia

I like how you’re willing to give Webb another shot at it. At this point, though, I think Marchbanks deserves a shot, but not sure if Kawi will fund it.

Baseball rules….3 strikes and your out. Deagan has had his 3 strikes to be the true patriotic American he tries to show on the podium. Move on ask the next true American.

Since Australia isn’t sending their winning bros they are still participating. But what if Australia doesn’t send anyone ?

What if the USA can’t find fast ,patriotic riders ? Would anyone be upset if both of these countries didn’t participate?

Australia will send a team regardless of if we have a podium chance or not, just like we have for the last 40 years.

And I for one will still cheer on any team sent by Australia.  However, with the Lawrences out, and Webster unlikely to go with the amount of injuries he has been trying to ride through, the pickings are very slim.

Bold statement coming from a resident of a nation that was completely colonized.

Three months ago everyone was calling him the best 250 rider in the world. Turn down the invitation four years in a row, that's all you get.

Not bad

Why do you think Donger will even show up? He's not gone three years in a row. Him and his dad Lips won't go unless they're paid and are very likely to win. Which I would argue shows how 'patriotic' they really are.

USA baby🇺🇸🇺🇸 sh!t happens we live to fight another day “don't crash in the first turn😂” proud of the effort and grateful I was able to carry the flag on the podium!

Perfect reply.....

Wonder when the last time was that none of the defending team were at a MXdN?

The most credible and trusted sources in moto media, the most popular podcasts were saying that he wouldn't go unless he was paid and that he was basing his participation on who the other USA team members were, and gauging the possibility for a win. If Eli goes, I'll go. Remember that one?

I'm not making this up. Do your own research.

You are making it up because he was good to go until he broke his collarbone. He even tried riding after that to see if he could make it.

He tried so hard to make it work but that shoulder just didn’t want to play. Would have been like going to a gun fight with a knife.

sounds like Tanti will be the default pick for Aus with Webster out now. I guess Crawford’s form hasn’t been around long enough, surely he would have been a thought? Past Euro experience and he’s been fast to finish the year. Going from an all Honda team to an all Yamaha team for the Aussies it seems, unless Cannon gets the nod over Minear.

Maybe Byrner will have to pull double duties.

both them manufactures seem to throw a lot of support at Australia. Them CDR Yamahas have always looked so dialled in.

I'm sure Dacka would have no problem sending bikes and support for Jed and Tanti. And if needed I'm hoping he would make it happen for Minear

Yamaha have always been great at supporting MXoN and Dacka has a tonne of pull with them nationally and internationally. Be interesting to see how they handle the Minear situation, he’s the better pick for sure I think. Maybe Larwood isn’t out of the question either? He was really good this year.

Crawford’s already repped NZ at MXdN I think?
