I would say there are some very very very old Vitards on here.
They'd make Max Anstie look young...
And there are some with the mental capacity of a 2 year old.. 👆
Go away.
Early 40's here.

Just turned 70 and not at all down hill. Have 4 bikes and get to the track a couple of times a year on my 2stroke. Retirement is awesome. There is a lot to look forward to for motocrossers in their youth - my first race was at 16 as soon as I could drive myself to the track.
Change your poll to "70 Plus - can't wait to ride this week".
Old enough to know better to young to care.
Turning 56 next month, was 37 when I first joined Vital.
Giraffe579, keep on keeping on...you are an inspiration to us younger folk here.
You ain't supposed to bite on every single lure thrown in the water right??? 🤣
Poll does not say 70 is done, just downhill from there, LOL
50, but may retire in the next few years. I work to live, not vice versa. I have the wife bought in that going to MXON every year would belong on the retirement bucket list!
I’ve forgotten more than some of you will ever know.
70 yrs. YZ 250 2stk. it's an old man thing! Still love MX, usually have to race +50 or +60 class.
How do we explain the big dip. The 40s group?
Always been a kid at heart, and for the most part have always felt great. Getting old was something my folks, and other people did. Then one day, I open the mailbox and there is a letter from the AARP with my name on it..... Damn. I guess that is me now. Where the hell did this come from? Then a cold sweat came over me when the reality of the fact I have celebrated more birthdays than I will have coming towards me. Rather than being all down about it, I just said fuck it. I made it past the half century mark, and these days that truly is an accomplishment. So, these days if I wake up, all my limbs are moving well, and I can breathe freely, I figure I have half the battle whipped. I live for fun way more than in the past, dress in what feels good instead of what is trendy, and live my life as how I see fit..... And I could not be happier. Embrace that natural hair color change, or loss of the hair. Eat that extra bacon if you feel like it today, and splurge on that new pair of Vans you damn sure don't need. I earned the right, and I damn sure will make my remaining birthdays good ones.... I'm on my time now.
61 to 70, not much left? No way! It should be changed to "Just living our best life."
I'm 69, active and very fit. Not real fast anymore but having a blast riding with buddies. Age is overrated anyway.
34.
You'll find the average forum user is older than the average age of a viewer of the site.
Couple months from 58 mostly feel 38. Ride on fellas!
Pit Row
Damn I’m the young one. 23. I think I joined up when I was 13 or 14.
Bwwaaaahahaaa😆. We may be older, but by God we will moto/offroad to the end!
61 and working on my best fitness ever.
Broke as heck as a kid and have been lucky enough and worked hard to buy bikes I couldn’t have dreamed of.
Best thing about OTHG racing in 4 years I’ll be the young guy in the 65 class.
Right now trying to decide if I sell off my second 23 450SR and get the 27 Honda or just wait out to see how Kawis updated bike shakes out.
45….started on the forums (first motoworld, then motodrive, now vital once motodrive moved here) at 22 years old….been around a while…don’t post much any more though…
Wow. Very interesting. As I type, 64% over the age of 40. Being serious, based on the many childish and immature posts that seem to lack a moderate level of mental maturity, I thought there were a bunch of teenagers posting. Very surprising grown men would act like that. Maybe it’s just a few that makes it seem like many.
65, race vintage MX, compete in modern.trials, do MX track days and trail ride woth friends.. Old but not seeing the end of my riding days, I wouldn't know what else to do.
On 11-18 I turn 60 I laugh when people said I,d never make it to 21. Had a lot of injuries & surgeries from work . Last 4 yrs 3 days in a row of injections for months. 6-27 I had my 1st big 1 on a bike . Paramedics gave me a fentanyl shot didn’t kill the pain but calmed my fighting for breath down. Didn’t think I would make the flight for life but I did. 7 broken ribs near my spine, collapsed lung , hole in it . Tension pneumothorax worst pressure & pain imaginable. Died in icu a few times , hearing yourself flat land & the big exhale & all life leaving your body is wild. Dr,s yelling your name then coming back . 3or 4 rotator cuffs tore & 1 strained also. I was due for a big 1 all yr I knew something real bad was going to happen. I figured a truck would take me out. Next yr i,m still gonna ride & race . The vintage scene looks like fun . I,d Love to get a 90,s cr125 for that.
A very mature 33
Damn dude, I noticed you'd been missing a while. All the best to your health and the best recovery
Where you going to ride/race? (Besides Dyracuse). After our good buddy Rick Anschutz collected thousands $$$ for track memberships then sold the track (Denmark MX in WI)..Never told any of us or offered money back (found out on FB )..He got me for $1000 .
First bike, 71 Yamaha mini enduro in yellow.
Present bike, 89 KX500.
I can neither confirm nor deny that this statement is true.
But I do have Racing injuries that are older than a large % of viewers ages.
