The frustration from riders makes sense after a few years of this. And Hunter has a great point. Instead of taking this money they found out of nowhere and making the purses better through out the season they make these riders (especially the privateers) do one last little dance for a proper paycheck. I agree with everything you’re saying but it’s more than just an eyebrow raiser, I think it’s pretty obvious given what we all saw. I’ve not lost an ounce of respect for them and I picked Hunter to win the championship anyways, so it worked out. Within the first ten minutes I think it became clear what was taking place. If Deegan wouldn’t have taken Hunter out we probably wouldn’t even be discussing this today but he did and I think it changed things.

I don't mind the pulp pods, JT and Steve but I don't tune in often anymore. Pulp alone produces like 3 a week right?? And then you all the others. I just choose a random one maybe once week and that's enough. I don't understand how Lew, Db, Steve, and especially JT do it?? They do several every week with the same talking points over and over. I'm a huge fan of the Lawrence family and I will remain one until the day that Deegan retires. I am a huge fan of them both, I have a brother im very close to and as much as I don’t want to say it, the things you said resonate for me as well. I have felt so bummed since the first moto yesterday. Jett is a really kind person IMO and I think he did what he felt was right but I’m not sure there was a “right” other than to race his hardest which would’ve ripped away another championship from Hunter…it’s honestly a lose lose for them both after Deegans crash took HJ down.

I think it was Jett doing what humans do, emotions get involved, it's his brother. I can't imagine Jett laying up to let his brother win. However, Hunter is so good that if Jett simply hiccups long enough, even he may not be able to reel Hunta in. I could see him just hesitating enough in the first moto that it sets up better odds for his brother. He's not going to throw the races, though.

I think the same. As good as Hunter has been I honestly think Jett has been sand bagging for Hunter particularly last weekend. If it was any other rider in the world instead of Hunter this weekend coming I would put the house on Jett

Not saying that I disagree completely with everyone’s sentiment but it’s actually wild that Jett is so good we’re all here saying “yeah, he’ll probably let him have this 450 CHAMPIONSHIP” !!! It’ll be tough to fake it if he starts in front of Hunter but I do agree with everyone’s sentiment that if Hunter starts in front of him Moto 1, I feel like he’s not going to force the issue and then go out and win moto 2. The only reason I feel this way is how much it seems to bother Jett to keep ripping these away...

I was about to type something like this. I think Jett knows that if he decides to win he can do it but he has mixed feelings about it. On the other hand Hunter is full focused on winning because if he wins he knows Jett would he happy for him and if Jett wins Hunter knows that Jett would feel kind of bad about it.
