Jett's injury is still holding him back clearly. He's not riding over his head or a "head case." He can't use the technique properly he's programmed into his body, that makes him the FMOTP. Hunter improved this year for sure. You think he improved enough to put 12-15sec on Jett like he did 1st moto? Jett is so far off from being back to his normal self
He wasn't faster ,2 seconds down on Hunter and 1 on Jett . He did have a great ride though
Great ride from Deegz. He's absolutely looking better on the bike. He looked really stiff to me at the start of the season. He was rolling that first moto

Dude he’s still 20 back in the motos with good starts! Like he did that at pala with terrible starts. Jett would have easily had 30 on him. Red bus was the same. No laps lead and his starts are pretty damn good lately

Jett & Hunter's pattern of tossing away wins and handing the other an OA continues. Quite the brotherly bonding activity.
I'm curious how much riding Jett has gotten in week-to-week and if the heel support footpeg design reduces foot symptoms enough to increase that quantity. Either way, Hunter is a menace this year and I can't help but root for the guy.
Deegs looked fast today. His speed is great but imo Haiden's biggest strength rests in his line choice and connecting multiple sections that allow him to send. We'd gotten a couple of glimpses of it this year but Moto 1 felt like the first time I'd seen him really find it. Moto 1 was gnarly.
Stoked to have Eli back. Wasn't his best showing but he's missed out on a summer of testing, lost his foundation that he'd carried through sx (despite injuries) so I wasn't all that shocked to see him phone it in. It's also like Chase said this morning, with Eli you never know if he's gonna get 10th or fight for the lead. Seemed like he was just getting a moto in and dusting off some cobwebs.
Reg the 450 Moto 1 start, is there an angle of it that looks more incriminating as far as Jett goes? The broadcast made it sound like, "ooooh Jett kinda stuck it to Deegan there" but I didn't even see contact, and it seemed more like Haiden was headed for the ground on his own
Chase was right about the Honda and it's finally catching up to the brothers with all this crashing.

People had these crazy expectations for ET3... Eli has never ridden the KTM outdoors so he doesn't have outdoor settings. He just is coming back from injury and gauging where he's at in regards to the riders that have been racing for 2 months. You can see that he wasn't completely confident in sending it through corners, etc. Even James mentioned that several times during the broadcast.
I think Eli did well and he will get better. Really this race was to get seat time in and come out unscathed. Mission accomplished.
the dude 20 seconds back isn’t pushing anyone to the edge. Hunter stepped it up this year because he wants to win and doesn’t want to live in Jett’s shadow. Jett is learning to ride with a career ending injury and doesn’t like to lose so I think he’s trying too hard and forcing errors on himself

Sounds like the track conditions were great. Too bad there isn’t more racing . Like 125, 250 emx on Sunday . 125 class sat had 36 on the gate, quite a few of them race the 11 round series. They hv the track dialed.
They should do a PPV with Jett and Deegan.
Yaa my bad, I didn’t mean anything towards you. I was thinking the same, if Jett or someone else went down where Deegz did, they would’ve gotten the same kind of help. I was thinking that guy didn’t know the rules that the mechanics can help if their rider goes down in the first turn.
They should have the combines at every round and 125 2-stroke races too for riders 13-16 yrs old.
