Yes redbud. Josh Litchle passed away from heat exhaustion around 2010-2011 if I remember correctly.

Was hotter last weekend at MXGP of Italy.
It was RedBud 2011. I was there. It was very hot that day. I remember seeing him stalled and attempting to kick start his bike quite a while. After the moto when walking towards the exits I also remember seeing someone push his bike through the crowd towards the pits. Drove straight home through the night, found out he had died the next afternoon when I woke up.
Finally it’s been a cold yr. Sat,sun race in Xmas, Mi. In the UP . It was a high of 54& 51, I put a Fat main jet in . But I never made it riding during the week on a sand track 120 mi away . And my back nerves, hip pain was too tight & dead leg , foot is all numb. Lower Mi. Is usually hotter than Green Bay . Sat it shows hot yet here next sat. I might hv to get a personal loan to race AM day. Lol I Love riding in the heat & humidity.
Bruh. 200+ HR for 70 minutes in 100 degrees isn’t about being tough or not. The human body can only do so much and these guys are on a razors edge when it’s that hot.
Bruh, we hang out in that heat all day. We're not in motorhomes. Literally there from 7am-5pm. And racing 4 or more motos. These aren't professional athletes with strict hydration regimens. These are kids eating nachos and sour patch kids for lunch. You think the kids on 65s stretching out every single jump aren't maxed out on hr? The pros sit in ac all day, taking a shower. Sitting in ice, getting an iv, then have the mechanic wait on the line with the bIke

Texas heat is different to Michiana heat with all of the corn sweat. Plus the lake. Your ass would hydroplane off a portashitter with the amount of water in the air. I would take texas 100 over midwest 100 all day long.

He's from a pretty temperate spot with average summer temps in the 70s, plus don't most GP riders end up living in Belgium?
Not saying he's never experienced heat/traveled to a desert, but it's like saying someone from San Francisco should be used to heat, Death Valley gets hot.
