Clearly some of you have not been to Mt. Morris, PA if your questioning low IQ's and Inbreeding. Take a google maps drive around the area....

I live in the area and this made me LOL because it’s true.

To get there we first drive through Fayette county, which in this area is frequently called Fayettenam for a reason. Then you get to Greene county which is beautiful but truly the heart of what we call Pennsyltucky.

Also, why do we have to blare John Denver every year. We are in PA, not WV.

The chainsaws aren’t as bad in person as the airhorns. Had a guy blast one right in my ear at MXON, it was all I could do not  to stick that thing right up his ass. Blasting them and running the saws full blast during the podium interviews is pretty ignorant and very annoying.

I avoid podium speeches, great opportunity to move my ez-up to a prime spot.  J/k but it is great time to get a good spot on a corner. Air horns are annoying, chain saws aren’t as bad but still annoying.

I remember watching a GNCC race where a dude was blasting a chainsaw in riders faces as they rolled through a mud hole. I was wondering how it was he hadn't caught a Tech 10 in the nuts. Or been thrown in the hole in front of a quad by other spectators.

I was also wondering if any new to the sport viewers may have heard the Saw and thought it was one of the bikes  out on the track?

I came here wondering if anybody that was there live may have "taken care" of sawman.     You could hear the announcers were annoyed. I bet that it was even louder for them and that the broadcast crew cleaned up some of the audio that we ended up hearing.  It sounded like they were having a hard time hearing each other or were hoping somebody would stop the guy.

I’ll take all the chainsaws over having some asshole block everyone out with their EZ-UP tent.

They kind of defeat the purpose of bikes needing to pass sound checks.

I noticed that on the stream yesterday. They just put them fuggers up where ever they feel like.

Manufacturers collectively imposed the sound rule in an attempt to keep more local tracks open. It wasn’t Feld or MX Sports call. Chainsaws and air horns aren’t shutting down local tracks/riding areas, loud ass 4 strokes are.

I didn’t notice yesterday but was watching with a ton of distractions. High Point used to have a designated area for EZ-UPs further away from the fence up on a hill.  Which was really cool for families/groups to have a spot to cool off. I really hope DC didn’t relax that rule there because trackside EZ-UPs really suck.

I think it was JT said he got so annoyed at 2018 MXoN Red Bud that he grabbed the saw out of someones hands and threw it over the fence.          If I have time tomorrow night and JT is on Pulp Ill call in and ask.

Been around this sport for 50+ years and watching the podium today with obnoxious chainsaws and air horns in the background when riders are giving interviews was an all time low for me.

AMA/MX Sports seriously to ban them. Anybody that watches this who is not a hardcore fan, must think this is some kind of hillbilly sport and probably will not watch it again.

“We need to grow the sport” they say.  “Tracks are shutting down” they say.  Proceeds to let in JA’s with fucking chainsaws and air horns.  “What’s killing the sport” they ask.  Hahahaha

Backpack leaf blower is the way to go. Easier to carry all day and doesn't take up a drinking hand. See y'all at REDBUD!

I think it’s awesome. I noticed that they stopped doing it during rider podium interviews. Which was a good thing.😆

Air horns and chan saws are ok is they are used correctly. Blowing them and reving them when they are being interviewed is just rude! The problem is a drunk fan has no self awareness or respect for others. Nothing is more obnoxious than hearing this when the interview in going on. Because you can’t fix stupid I feel that air horns, chain saws and smoke bombs need to be banned from the races.

It was an embarrassment to the sport when they were using them to disrupt the interviews.  The person(s) doing so are under the effect of alcohol most likely and are just attempting to be a nuisance.
Ban air horns, chainsaws etc around the podium area.
Some countries would have public stoning for this type of behavior.
Tracks need to mitigate this now.
Im confident that the Martin boys wont tolerate this when they host the national next month.

Sounds like I got lucky at Thunder Valley.  Or whoever was in charge or promoting/ running the event did a better job of nipping obnoxious behavior in the bud.
