With all of the socials blowing up with visitors from around the world, it would be awesome to get some of them at a national. Scotland plays in Boston on Friday, and Brazil plays in Philly. If only we could get them all there somehow on Saturday 😂
After watching my daughter play soccer for 15 years, I finally learned the rules…we are enjoying the world cup 100%…not sure there is a crossover for hardcore soccer fans to moto….but they do like to drink beer and fight…maybe its no so far fetched….
I just saw a video of a bunch of English people at a rodeo in Texas. I think they just want to do stuff while they’re here lol
That is one heck of a trek. Someone here would have to have a bus of some sort.
Quarter Final in Boston on July 9 and Southwick on July 11 would be the closest to making sense. High Point is a 5-6 hour drive from Philly.

Are there any Scottish or Brazilian riders for them to support?
Perspective i guess... 5 hours travel for some isn't far at all.. especially in some countries. heck, Im 247 miles to the next town🤣
Get them a man card......
There's a select few i think you could convince.. and you need ample beer.
The lost selling point is that most euros think multiple hour car rides are absurd. So that's a big hill to climb.
I totally get what you’re saying, however I know there’s some of us out there. I grew up playing soccer my whole life and still play pickup on Sundays when I’m not at the track
Holy moly, Prudhoe, Alaska? I’m interested where you could possibly be that’s that secluded
Why?
Just my stupid opinions;
I started playing in 1969 and gave it up 40 years or so later. My Dad never understood it.
You need a High Point halftime show:
Tell me you’re an Aussie without telling me you’re an Aussie.
Lets get the Tartan Army to Mount Morris!
Soccer is gay
Pit Row
Is Dean Wilson racing?
Create a beer trail that leads to the track.
In before the "soccer is for softies" tough guys arrives after spending 20 minutes matching their gear kit
edit: ah already too late I see
I recognize the Talent of the players, No High Level Physical Sport is easy : but, until they get rid of this Utter BS - people call it 'gamesmanship', I call it Idiocy, that SO cheapens the game - I will never have much time for it.
Though, I have little time for Any Ball and Stick games. I grew out of them decades ago. I played Rugby: League and Union - both to State level, and, did some Soccer. I was one of those Kids that was good at All sports - well, until I destroyed my knees. That started by taking on a Man Mountain of a Samoan ? Tongan ? Maori ? in a Footy match. Cripes those Islanders were / are BIG!
And, if there ever was a sport that seems to be made to be so frustrating for 'Fans' - the knuckle draggers especially so - it's bloody soccer.
Sweet FA scoring, much of the time, and just blokes running up and down a field. Often times, the only excitement, being these Pantomime dives.
Seems perfect for breeding Soccer Hooligans - so little going on, so, they find their own 'entertainment'.
Hey Last2Stroke - you'll probably be far more observant than I - there's a TV ad - for what I just can't recall - that quite hilariously puts S**t on the 'Soccer Dive Culture', right now, in the midst of this World Cup - perhaps you can recall it, and put it up. It's a bit of a crack up.
So far the visitors seem to really be enjoying the United States. Here in Seattle everybody has been excited and friendly and it's great. Let's not ruin that by sending them to an event where a bunch of drunk shirtless rednecks are chanting "murica" at the Lawrences.
It seems to be a thing on Youtube...Euros making videos about how great the US is and how they were lied to by their news media.
If a bunch of English people are having a blast at a rodeo in Texas, I think they’ll be fine. Maybe don’t project your own negativity on the sport.
Maybe tell them the riders, even on the smallest of tip overs, will lay on the ground, grab a leg and roll around like they’re dying. Doesn’t soccer have a yellow flag or something ? Then get up and haul ass again. They like that crap.
Tell them they can have as much free ranch sauce as they can handle.
Apparently Ranch dressing does not exist over there. Oh the humanity!
If i was there for the World Cup, i would deffo be up for a National as well, but seeing as i wouldnt watch England play in the park that my house backs on to , its not likely.
When i raced at Laguna Seca back in the day, we did a 2Hr round trip to watch Flat Track . That was cool.
FWIW , i could race a season for what it costs to watch 3 games in the Group Stages.
A workmate has done the WC for 20 years, but worked out it was going to be £20k for him and his boy for 3 games, so they are going to Madrid to watch a Spanish game, Berlin to watch a German game, and then will watch the Semi Finals and Finals wherever that may take them.
Like many in the US late 70”s early 80”s ,I was never introduced to Soccer at a young age….baseball, football, basketball, hockey….did them all growing up…I wish I played soccer….After learning the intricacies and skills required, it is a beautiful game….the officiating are working on the “Flopping” during first USA match, they reversed a yellow card against us after a flop review & carded the Flopper…….does that make sense…..never change MX…grab your can of monster and all black cool guy kits
