Well Jett’s first four motos were 1-1-1-1 so I guess…..

Technically Deegan has beaten all those same guys from 2023 every moto so far!

Honestly, Deegan would not have beaten Sexton when he was on Honda or KTM 2023-2025.

In what way is that relevant to how Deegan will do in the future?

In your opinion.  I believe todays Deegs and yesteryears Sexton would probably swap placement positions.
Deegan is the real deal.
You may see it this weekend.

His dad is the brains behind the marketing and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was done intentionally to keep people talking about him.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I respect the talents of all the riders out there. I would love to be as fast as Chase Sexton on his slowest day.

I know it’s what they get paid for, but I don’t envy the stress and the pressure that is put on these guys to go out there and perform at their best every single week and when they don’t to have people on social media bag on them.

Again, not directed personally at you, just just an observation.

And riding a bike that he has said has been the most uncomfortable bike in his racing career.

I don’t know if he’ll ever be comfortable again, this bike or another, but it would be great for the sport if he found it…

A bit off topic, but I have a sneaking suspicion that not to far in the future, some of the moto “journalists” and “media” are going to realize that they’ve shot themselves in their feet, so to speak regarding their somewhat negative bias regarding Haiden and the Deegans as a whole.  From Matthes’ clear disdain for them, especially Brian, to big Lew’s “story” he recently told about “bed bugs” (just me, but my gut tells me some or all of that story is fictional).  I just hope they could be more professional and impartial.

Jett and Hunter haven’t spoke in his performances or his antics (and won’t because they are focused on their own riding and smart enough not to get ragebaited) and they are the only 2 people in the world faster than Deegan right now, so everyone not named Jett or Hunter Lawrence should just shut up and watch the races instead of lurking on his social media like a stalker and being a weirdo. Deegan is coming and the haters will get more quiet in the weeks and years to come.

I think 'bias' is thrown around a lot nowadays in a way that is incorrect. Bias involves supporting a viewpoint of someone or something that either doesn't correspond to objective fact or involves avoiding large swathes of facts to support that viewpoint. For example, when I've pointed out in the past that Webb would not win an outdoor 450 championship, it is supported by fact. You could say I dislike Webb - which is true - but in this case it's not a case of bias - It is an objective fact that he is not a very good outdoor rider. You could increase or decrease the level of bias - but the underlying case remains the same. Webb outdoors is slow.

The Brian thing is more difficult. You could say it's bias against Brian to say that his 'marketing' style is not cool and adds a shit element into the sport, but this ends up being something that is more difficult to prove either way in reference to facts. That's because all of the outcomes of what he does might be something you agree with or like. By outcomes I mean increased divisiness, more dirty riding, more unsportsmanlike behaviour.

On the other hand saying Donger Deegan is not as good a rider as Jett Lawrence is a cold hard fact. One which Brian should have considered when he sent his son to a race with a t-shirt a five year old would have found embarrasing, and is as cringeworthy as 'believe the hype' all those years ago.

I think Eli, The Bullet, Lucas Coenen, and Prado - plus Tucker Sexton when he gets his shit together - might disagree...

Maybe it’s all a part of the master plan even admitted on his last video that you can only ride so fast In second gear. Sounds like he’s been riding the 450 how it’s supposed to be; controlled throttle and short shifting versus riding like it’s a 250 on the rev limiter. At the very least close up those 20 second gaps to 5 seconds and hunter toying with him and then blowing by him in the first moto last weekend.

Deegs doesn't beat a healthy Tomac.....nor would he beat a non-headcase Sexton. he's certainly not the 3rd fastest in the world right now.....you Dangerboyz need to wake up

You’re right, he was able to humbly take that beating, but is he going to go back to acting like a tool when he wins again? I’m almost certain he will. The whole “keep that same energy” saying fits very well here.

You could quite literally hear Deegs bike banging off the rev limiter on the broadcast last weekend lol

Big negative....

Subjective 100%

Webb has shown very clearly that he is not interested in putting in the effort to be competitve outdoors...He is not slow by any means .His choice.

Webb has an outdoor 250 cship  and ran upfront on the 450 at the MXON posting lap times just off Herlings .

Webb has said in the past that the high speed of outdoors has gotten tougher for him over the years.

mike alessi's reputation is only now recovering. and he's an actual nice guy that never broke his own collarbone trying to deny someone a title - he just stuck his leg out down the start a few times. how are they not impartial? how many times does matthes give deegan props for his riding and work ethic?  you like the guy because he's bold and controversial but don't want people to point out any controversy? i dont get it.

the more people ignore the deegans the more controversy theyll try to generate. is it ok if journalists ignore them? would you be happy with that?

He's raced two 450 nationals so far this year and podiumed on the 2nd race, he's doing fine. Multi world champ Jorge Prado didnt podium his first year here racing outdoors. Just a lot of jealousy for the Deegs

Alessi only stuck his leg out down the start straight? Sorry dude, this is far away the biggest homer move ever pulled on a motocross track…
