I don't think shootouts are perfect, and for some people it could be the best 450, but they're a fairly decent indication of how the bikes stand imo.

You started talking about test rider biases without acknowledging your own, like you being a Suzuki fan and owning one, so whether or not you realise it you will try to convince yourself to believe positive things about the Suzuki, both to protect your own beliefs and ego, and because you have made a sizeable financial purchase of it and you don't want to feel negative about it.

You are no faster on your “insert bike mfg” than you would be on the Zook is all I’m saying.  It’s not a bad bike for any of us and this thread proves it. Lots of happy Zook ownwers in here and I am sure not a single one says, I would have won last weekend if not for this damn Suzuki.

I'm not trying to shit all over the Suzuki, like I said it could be the best bike for some people, I just find it silly that public sentiment has shifted on a bike that hasn't changed at all in almost 9 years because one of the best riders in the world won a championship on a heavily modified Suzuki. And that also means all the test riders who rode one had some evil secret agenda to make the Suzuki look bad
