5/13/2026 10:17am So around the neck of the race that goes into the frame I would wrap with aluminum or the jb/loctite method? Will the jb or loctite be a pain to remove once I do upgrade the races? I just need something to get me a couple months so this boy can ride

5/11/2026 4:47pm Got it apart, the top nut, the 46mm wasn’t even hand tight, when I did tighten it the slop went away, the bottom race has a tiny bit of play, I put the top race in the bottom just to see how egged out the frame is, and there was hardly any, wouldn’t need tapped in but not as sloppy...

5/10/2026 7:15pm Picked up a used 17 pw for my boy, didn’t realize the steering stem races cracking and wollowing out the bottom of the steering neck was so common. Ordered a set of oem bearings before realizing that they probably won’t work. Other than the weld in races do I have any other options to fix this? At least buy some...

6/4/2025 1:09pm Hopefully not, I’m about ready to replace my Suzuki and as long as the price is right again I’ll get another. They just need an e start to shift public perception. I started mine hot in 1 kick today and cold in two. It’s been extremely reliable
