Potentially a little shower or t-storm this Saturday if this holds:

I always drill down into the various platforms but it's still a bit out and not likely to be super accurate until late tomorrow or Friday.  I figure most people just want to know if there's a chance of rain or not.

All good. I was just referring to last weeks thread when someone said I was doing a “deep dive” into weather by simply using Weather Underground. No shade thrown your way.

The timing of the rain does not look great. Looks like the best chances are during racing. Hopefully 1/2” of rain doesn’t make it too sloppy.

That's a perfect forecast for High Point. Round four is going to be a barn burner me thinks!

East coast in the summer, hot humid might rain later, might only rain across the street, copy and paste until the end of time

Bradshaw won in the rain there towards the end of his career. The celebrations are legendary. One of my favorite races on the schedule.

IMG 0226 4You were befuddled and being a condescending dick about how people check weather. I made a snarky comment back. I am sorry I hurt your feelings.

I was there in 97 and it was cool seeing the fans go crazy that day. I was a huge Swink fan and of course he crashed out in the 2nd turn and was done for the day.

This has been 1 of the weirdest spring-into-summers in a while, around here (weather-wise.) It's been cooler than usual, with a random very hot day sprinkled in, every so often. Also, it seems like every day has a chance of rain. It's always tough to predict/prepare for High Point though. The forecast looks like cooler than usual with rain but I still won't be shocked by moto 2s if we are baking, with the sun beating down. And of course the humidity. Hopefully it'll be some good racing though.

Forecast is looking better! Maybe it will keep pushing back and we get perfect weather for the motos. IMG 0426 3

The weather "deep dive" dialogue is the funniest mini-beef on Vital

I had a notification on my phone about it but I honestly haven't noticed anything, when I've been outside.

Yup, on the MHR/Factory Conmection Honda #10. Lots of water that day!

During the day it’s a slight haze at night you can see it better in the headlights.  Air quality is as bad as 2 yrs ago though.

Yes we still have some of the smoke from Canada.

How long are the fires supposed to last ? With the wind it’s 44 degrees this morning. Bur

I live 30 minutes from the track. 24hr radar shows rain starting around 7am and clearing out about 1pm.

If it rains hard enough are you thinking it will be a semi-mudder or is this just the norm for your area and the dirt can hold it?

They're usually on it at the track as far as weather. So if they pack it in before the rain comes it shouldn't be too bad.
