Hopefully feld and the cult commission of sport can produce good dirt and a legitimate race track for the final round. Last nights track was a joke.

Chill out, mate.

All I was saying was that it's been about 10 years since Kenny's near amputation of one arm, then that gruesome break of his other arm in Webb's spining rear tire. Now he's near the end of his career and this might be his last shot.

I've said all along that Hunter seems like a good dude and I wouldn't mind seeing him win it, too, but he's younger and has plenty of time to get it done.

And fuck you for bringing up the fact that I'm a Yank. I'm rooting for a German and an Aussie, dumbass.

Actually before that it’s what the Brits called us during the revolution

Common sense says Hunter. He has better stamina than Ken, does better starts and has (in the dry races) been the better one of them this year.

I get it that people root for the old guy just like they root for Eli. But I would not bet my house on Roczen to beat Hunter straight up on pure speed or stamina in normal conditions.

But Kenny has done it multiple times this year to Hunter…these guys seem to swap speed from week to week…I hope we have a barn burner next week and may the best man win.

I hope Kenny can pull off some magic but I think Hunter just reaffirmed last night what he has all year. He's the top sx rider in 2026. It took his big crash in Detroit and a couple of mud races to make this championship so close. Maybe the stars can align and Kenny can dig deep for one more race. Otherwise Hunter has got this

Hunter is not the only one who had bad luck this year. What if Hunter didn’t take Kenny out or Kenny didn’t land on AP? His only two big points losses have not come from his own mistakes.

Hunter on the other hand has crashed, by himself to lose the points he has. I have a bad feeling Hunter is going to win next weekend but pray that we see a very fast version of Kenny.

Yeah I really wasn't even saying Hunter had bad luck. Him crashing out in the whoops is on him. And not being as a good a mud rider isnt bad luck. Hunter has been the superior rider this year IMO. That was a clinic last night. I agree though, I hope just for one last time Saturday night we get some magic from Kenny. The fastest sprinter, in the first couple laps of a race/moto, that we've ever seen in this sport. Both guys will be very deserving winners

Yeah, I was really caught up in the moment and the stakes of the race. It was only after the race was over did I think, man that track sucked. One of the last two races of the year and that's what they give us?

Currently driving to go ride with my kid and he’s recently developed an obsession for Black Sabbath. Idk why, but Iron Man instantly reminds me of Kenny, and if he wins this championship someone needs to make a video of him riding to the tune.

Honestly think it would bring a tear to me eye to see kenny get it, but I think hunter has been better on the harder dirt this season and has more consistent starts.

I'll be incredibly happy for hunter but he has a whole career ahead of him, so I'm pulling kenny, who realistically doesn't have many more shots at this

I don't think it's true that hunter is always faster in dry conditions, but he's definitely faster when the track is dry and hard pack as shit so I think it will come down to what the surface is like

That Honda is hard to beat on blue groove hard packed.

Given both starts good, if conditions are like this weekends race, Hunter all day long.

If rutt-fest and traction, Kenny has the edge.

Does Hunter hold the tiebreaker now? They both have 5 wins and Hunter has more 2nd place finishes.

If somebody else wins in SLC and they tie in points, it goes to Hunter, right?

Fyi... winner take all, means winner takes ALL... every single penny... everything...

What it does not mean, is at the last round whoever wins gets the title... thats called win the race win the championship... it does NOT fn mean winner take all..... gezzussss....

I like both of the guys. IMO either one will be a fantastic Champion. I voted for Hunter just because I think he will win, but I hope Kenny wins it. Hunter has 7+ more solid years left in him. Kenny is likely done in the next few. It's been an amazing season to watch this year.

Damn, Hoss.

Sometimes I hear people say, "I could care less," and I know that they are misreprenting the phrase, but I don't say anything about it.

You know what I meant.  Go have a beer or something.

We thought neither of them, Kenny and Hunter, had a chance this year, that was until Jett got injured and we found out Chase cant ride the Kawi and Tomac is too old and Prado is just a mobile tapas chicane.

Next yr, I doubt they have a chance either with a healthy full grid + Deegan. But we'll see.

So next weekend its likely their only real hope of a SX title in the trophy room.

Id have more enthusiasm for Kenny if he actually did outdoors aswell.

Do you think we see contact between them if they're close? They've both raced each other very clean so far, minus Seattle

Maybe if it’s down to the last lap or last turn.

Trying a takeout move is highly risky for Kenny because if he stalls the bike he’s toast.

Same.

Really want Kenny for redemption and the 10 year effort. Wouldn't mind Hunter because he seems like a good dude.

Stupid yanks never look past yer noses.

When Ken broke his arm almost in half, it was 10 seasons ago, in the 450 class, and Hunter was barely even a teenager.

Stupid Aussies can't count, or breakdance in the Olympics.

Two of the nicest people in our sport. Good to see one of them become the 450 SX champion.

Rooting for Kenny on the yellow machine. I think he has what it takes to finish in front of Hunter.

I'm in the strangest place right now. I really like Hunter and I appreciate his efforts. He's taken his first 450SX win this year and backed it up with four more. He's been the perennial underdog to his younger brother and he always seems to be the bridesmaid. I want so badly to see him win a 450 title and yet I'll be absolutely heartbroken if he wins this one. Go Kenny!

I don’t think Kenny will win it, but look at how good he’s done. It’s a great accomplishment already.
