Was that just after Kkkkenny fell over? It was 9 secs on next to last lap.

Great ride, great bounce back. 💪🇦🇺

He was gradually gapping the field and was gifted a nice chunk of time when Kenny tossed it.

Nevertheless, no one can take anything away from Hunter. He rode away with that one and will be a deserving Champion if he wraps this thing up in SLC.

With 2 more hard pack tracks and a triple coming up it's hard to count anyone out yet. Hunter has been the most consistent starter all year and that has been the difference. I think it's still up in the air.

Who are the hard pack tracks supposed to favour?

Dungey 2.0. Even with Hunter and Eli sharing the red plate, I said it was a two rider battle for this title last week between Huntah and Kenny. Hunter will be tough for Kenny to beat with his consistency and good starts. We've seen he'll take a podium if a win isn't on the table.

Hunter is riding great and much improved but he definitely is the Scottie Scheffler of dirt bikes. Great champion but man is he boring. Oatmeal.

Personality or riding style? If its personality, I would say thats objectively wrong and there are plenty worse in the field...

Eli if regular Eli shows up. Kenny seems to not have his edge on hardpack, and I think Hunter also has said his bike doesn't work as well on hardpack.

I'm in the camp that doesn't really give a shit what the riders personalities are. The Ryan's were boring robots off the track when they were active. They were the baddest mfers when they put their helmets on. I qualified that as when they were active because retired RV has been a revelation 😂 Retired RV rules

I think ET and Kenny. It's not locked up yet. Et could still come back to life.

P.S. I am a big Lawrence bros fan.

It’s Supercross - anything can happen. But Hunter is making us Aussies happy.

Ever notice how transparent Hunter is compared to most every other rider? I mean he has no problem saying his wrist is jacked up & hurting…or that in some conditions his bike doesn’t work well. I’m not a big fan, but at least his honesty is refreshing.

Hunter had 18 seconds on 2nd place at one point in the Nashville main... He and Kenny also put 30+ seconds on the field at Birmingham.

Historically hard pack has favoured Eli but not on orange. Aus WSX, Glendale, Birmingham, Nashville all not great.

Is that your way of saying you’re not a fan? What would you consider exciting?

A fake deep froth merchant would want him to shave his head then bleach it, wear a cowboy hat and start wearing an ear ring with a cross hanging from it.

P.P.S You spelled favor wrong.

It was kind of a rhetorical question... Nashville was probably the most hardpack track on the circuit and Hunter easily handled Kenny and Eli was MIA.

I'm not sure where Eli goes from here.  His last five finishes are 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 12th.  Also these are the gaps from Eli to first place at the last four rounds:

Birmingham - 35.7 secs

Detroit - 17.1 secs

St Louis - 37.9 secs

Nashville - 51.2 secs.

From listening to various sources over the last day or so it seems the scoop tyre was a gamble to get back in the game and failed.

He's insisting nothing is wrong but he's not even in the discussion for a win or even a podium.  Results wise he's in the wilderness right now.

PS favour is spelled correctly, so is tyre!

You know I usually have a favorite, but this year all the top contenders are likable and I don't care who wins. Any of the top three or four would be deserving champions.

I was not a fan of Hunta originally but he seems like a good bloke…..he has big mo on his side…going to be tough to beat down the stretch…..would be great if when Jett comes back, he never beats Hunta again…..

I guess when Hunters mechanic put +17 on the pit board he thought he made a mistake and meant 1.7 seconds haha what a ride from Hunter.

That Aussie gives the best damn interviews and just seems to “tell it like it is” from his own perspective. Nice!

Look, I’m as “Murican” as the next guy; but, watching Hunter put it all together doesn’t brother me. Not one bit.

I know there’s a bit to go before it’s all said and done , but , because of the consistency  Hunter has shown, I’m feeling like this may be a wrap.

It’s certainly not a wrap yet but the pressure is definitely on the others.

Let’s say Hunter averages a second place finish for the last four rounds, a highly realistic scenario.  Eli can’t win the title even if he wins out.  Kenny would have to win the remaining four rounds to beat him.

I would've thought the hardpack favors Lawrence with their more motocross background? The Honda in general being a hardpack bike? Or are peeps hoping and praying for anything Eli/roczen
