It's almost like they should start testing and developing the bike starting at the end of the season, like right after des Nations, right up until Anaheim 1.
It’s no longer a panic button. It’s a reset button. But can KawiSexton find it?
I would think he’s out at Yamaha because of Deegan. It was said that was the reason he left Honda because he had to be the “A” rider. Suzuki might not be factory enough for him. Ducati or Triumph might be the move. The bikes are not proven yet so there would be no pressure on him to win.
I’m sure Webb will be back with star but he is up at the end of this year.

Hear me out…..Husky.
I hope so
HEP is looking good rn lol
Chase will have no excuse with 10 years of data on that bike lol
This.
Chase is here moaning about his third bike after he did the same at KTM and Honda meanwhile an older Kenny is checking out on a unchanged 2018 RMZ.
For some reason I thought Webb was signed through 2027. If Davies wins the 250 title this year he gets a year to defend so he would likely be riding a 450 in 2028. I don't see Star keeping Webb, Deegan, and Davies. If anything it will be Webb and Deegan next year unless Star decides to keep Jcoop for another year. I would think Jcoop is thinking longer term. With his performance the last 2 years I expect him to have some better offers than he has had. He would be a significant upgrade at Ducati, Beta, or Triumph. Suzuki could even be a possibility if Anderson doesn't come back.
Maybe a dumb question, but does anyone know or have an idea on the Husky/Rockstar budget?
I like Malcom Stewart, but he's not a serious threat for the championship.
Anderson won 7 years ago for them and Osborne has been retired for ~4 years now. Do they have the budget to swing for a "top" rider or at this point just having Malcom in the top 8 points wise is good enough?
He's looked good on the Kawi at times. The race he won for example, he looked real fast. Looked good last week as well, and Saturday he was the 2nd fastest qualifier behind KR. It's not the bike, it's Chase looking for a perfect set up and thinking too much.
Being a fellow midwest guy from Indiana, I've always liked Chase. But he can be his own worst enemy.
I want Eli to take the title, but I hope Chase comes out and takes the W next week just to blow this thread up.
sounds very JS7ish.... he better file a TUE
That was during the WADA days. The whole drug testing thing seems pretty loose these days. When's the last time you heard of anyone getting popped for something? You really think that's because nobody is doing anything whether it be recreational or performance enhancing? I know they make guys pee in a cup, but what happens after that is a mystery.
No kidding. And it was such an obvious dumpster fire waiting to happen, I can't believe either of them didn't see it. Maybe they did, and had no other choice.
A bike that needs some good, strong, overdue development after a year where nobody rode it at full leader race pace, is NOT a good place for Chase to go and have to do testing and setup. There is rightfully doubt in his mind about the motorcycle.
And Kawasaki, who needs someone with good testing skills, high confidence, and consistency to be able to make some development progress made the dumbest move by hiring Chase Sexton. They probably are taking every comment from Chase regarding the bike with a grain of salt. They need someone who they can be confident in their bike setup diagnosis.
lol. Sick dude.
Pit Row
Are you a physician by chance? Seems like they want to throw meds at everything without all information as well. Just give them drugs to fix it!
You can't read for diddly... lol.. this has nothing to do with the bike bruh.... it has to do with an extremely poorly run team.... that handled everything ando (and prado) piss poorly last year...
Chase, for some reason, figured the bike was holding him back from beating Jett consistently. Unfortunately his best chance was probably with KTM, ie. Eli’s success, but he didn’t stay long enough to fully develop the bike for him. Unfortunately now he is completely in the weeds and might not even reach the success he had before. My point is Chase thought it was bike problems when in fact it’s just a new level from Jett and Chase should have focused more on himself and technique.
Panic Button for Chase/Kawi?
No, he prefers the Eject Button.
I would think the panic button should be for Bruce S and Dan F….they are the ones whose jobs should be on the line….they are to blame
They ride the bike?
The Chase speculation is exhausting. Whatever the issue is, I don’t have confidence it’ll be solved by round one in Pala. Kawi and Chase need to put the egos aside and find some solutions.
Just like we all predicted when we were heard Chase was going to Kawi. He was on fire and looking as good as he ever has at the end of sx. Mental mistakes lost him the sx title not the KTM. This first year on green was going to he a throwaway year but who could have thought it was going to be this bad? And with Jett out Chase should have been primed to scoop up this title. If I had a favorite rider it would be Chase but I dont know if he'll ever get over these mental mistakes. Constantly searching for settings and the bike to work perfectly on every part of the track. Now in the future he's going to have to deal with a constantly improving Hunter and new beast on the block Deegan
They are the ones that are responsible for this clown show called Team Kawasaki to become the worst operated team we’ve seen since Yam gave up and handed the reins to Star…
from what I’d heard Jorge wanted more quick power so he can’t run tight in the corners and get the engine to pickup out of them.
It seems there’s something with the engine, it seems to me they can’t get the power to be both smooth and have the possibility of quick pickup or something of that nature. In stock form the engine is ‘lazy’ and I wouldn’t be surprised when they get more power out of it it becomes unwieldy or heavy feeling // like an old school Windham crf450 era four stroke feel.
How old is this engine design? Could they go electric water pump like the 250s?
How different is this engine design to KTM and Honda?
I heard they are calling him Chase Rectum
Or Chase Spectrum. Ouch
