Jett should be worried.

Could be. But I won’t believe it until I see it. Tim Gajser is still the only person I’ve seen beat Jett straight up on a 450 when Jett is riding his best.

We still barely know what it's like for Jett to be pushed on a 450. Gajser beat him in that one race, but that was after Jett caught him from way back. Hopefully we can have some Lawrence battles like they had in the 250s.

Lol for real I rolled my eyes when I opened what I thought was yet another deegan thread. Hunter looks great but jett is still the best in the world when hes on. He is coming back from yet another injury too tho.

Jett is not worried about winning races, no matter who is riding well at the moment. 

I believe Hunter would split wins with Jett right now. Sitting out a season will take your speed down a notch while Hunter has definitely moved up a notch or two. We may be in for a terrific National series of those 2 stay healthy 

Everyone should be worried. 3 of last four races is not luck. 

how wild would it be if jett's career turns injury prone and his lil (big) bro rises to the occasion and gets all the titles. 

To take the bias out of the conversation, let’s think about this rationally: 

Should Jett, coming back from injury and a long lay off, be worried about a renewed Tomac, who’s been looking so good on the KTM? If the answer to that is yes, then:
Tomac has said himself, he’s worried about Hunter.

By default that means Jett should also be worried about Hunter, right?

Throw in Prado and maybe Chase, and it’s going to be an outstanding outdoors. 
But there’s a brilliant SX title fight to get through first.

I would be more worried for the other manufacturers. Honda looking good.

Deegan will be the 2026 450 national champion Stamp it…As they used to say 7 years ago… he’s a gorilla, confident, has the last seven minute fitness like nobody else. And jet isn’t coming in perfect.  if he was, maybe this is the  that has it and can maybe fuck with him a little bit?

Why is it so hard to say

Every Supercross champion since Dungey won back-to-back SX and MX titles said they felt the “SX hangover” fatigue. I expect Hunter to be no different if he wins this SX championship. 

If Jett is fully healthy for the start of outdoors he will be fresher than the other 3 contenders (Hunter, Tomac, Prado).

I thought that same thing. Remember Pala last year when Eli tested Jett second moto? Everyone was thought it was going to be a battle all season. Then Jett just got better and better every week. Jett is a different animal outdoors

Same dumb shit. Different Era. The greats almost always come back great after injury and Jett will definitely come back to show everyone where they still stand

A monster easy lol. Good for Hunter but little bro has him covered in my opinion. 

Remember how injury prone Hunter was though.  A few on here (myself included) referred to him as a crystal doll on occasion.

It's only the last 2-3 years really that he's had such a consistent run, but his current trajectory has certainly been eye opening.

My favorite attribute of Hunter is that he actually puts up a fight and doesn't roll over...of which somehow gets translated into "he's a blocker and hold's everyone up for Jett" in a thread a week or so ago.

Jett does jaw dropping things on his motorcycle. Hunter is extremely fast and I think a smarter racer. Before Jett got hurt he was saying that Hunter was actually going faster at the test track. I also think Jett has another gear when he hits the actual race track though. It is looking to be a very interesting summer and I’m here for it!

While this might end up being true, you're deluded into thinking it's a given. 450 Novice to beat the best field we have ever had is very frickign far from a "stamp it" moment. See a pshycologist, your suffering from D.D.S!

I like Jett, but what he really needs to worry about is staying healthy for an entire season indoors and out. 

Little doubt when he's on, he's virtually unbeatable.

The only thing Jett needs to worry about is how to complete seasons. 1 out of 3 SX seasons will not cut it.

All I hope is that Hunter doesn't go back to being the defense for jett all around the track and defend him from every other rider. As we have seen he has the skill and talent to win races. Hope he can get some wins when jett is in the field.
