Adamo also an amazing rookie debut
Very impressive race from Vialle!
Vialle and Adamo rode amazing. So fast and both looks very composed on the bike.
No. He's back with his old team, Osicka KTM.
Valk is riding for TM, this year.

It’s real testing. They have added rotational impact measuring, so it’s an improved standard.
Yes, standard has been established with manufacturers in 2022 to increase safety with knowledge that it would become mandatory by 2026.
It left ample time for manufacturers, first models have been homologated in 2023, so far 11 brands have off-road helmets homologated (16 brands for road racing).

How longs that header pipe on that Yamahas, damnnnn
It really just confirms that Vialle is a different beast on MXGP tracks plus with a full offseason of just riding MX and I still think he just wasn't comfortable overriding the 250, specially not compared to Deegan.
Very cool to see, I would absolutely not be surprised if he wins a title in the next 2 or 3 seasons. 2020-2022 MX Vialle is finally back!
Btw don't quote me if he gets a 9th overall tomorrow 😂
How do the get the red plates printed before tomorrow? They have them made already or mxgp has a printer there to make them?
The thought of watching 125cc racing fills me with joy.
Track looks fun and like I might even be able to get around it without dying.
I wondered the same thing. Does every entrant have to take a set of red plates, just in case?
He never really looked like himself outdoors in the US. Not sure why. The only time he looked like today in the last years was mxdn in France 23. I wonder how his career would have evolved if he performed the exact same but didn't happen to have deegan in the class
They have a bunch of graphics printed in advance before the season starts.
Vialle has a shock that works and isn't racing deagan this year... Kinda joking.
It's one race of many. But he looks good to start the season.
Just watching the qualifying races, jesus christ this track is shit. Probably the worst I've ever seen in MXGP
Edit: I probably overreacted, the track started to shape up better by the end of the MXGP race. Not a fan of these highway style tracks with no technical features though
20th for Geerts, sucks seeing how his 450 career has gone so far.
Pit Row
Especially when you consider his 450 debut at MXoN. He showed so much promise there and hasn't been at that level since
Fastest lap of saturday races
250 qualifying race
1.58.440 = Sacha Coenen
1.59.969 = Liam Everts
2.00.075 = Camden Mc Lellan
2.00.178 = Mathis Valin
2.00.439 = Guillem Farres
2.00.448 = Simon Längenfelder
2.00.826 = Janis Reisulis
2.02.075 = Cas Valk
2.02.093 = Julius Mikula
2.02.474 = Kay Karssemakers
450 qualifying race
1.56.366 = Lucas Coenen
1.56.415 = Tom Vialle
1.57.426 = Andrea Adamo
1.57.513 = Maxime Renaux
1.57.657 = Romain Febvre
1.57.781 = Ruben Fernandez
1.58.541 = Tim Gajser
1.58.630 = Pauls Jonass
1.58.862 = Calvin Vlaanderen
1.58.928 = Andrea Bonacorsi
That would explain why Febvre is suddenly wearing a J18 instead of a J22
Add the fact that Vialle and Adamo went 1 and 3 on saturday. Lost a title to both of them, but it wasn’t for the lack of speed back then…
I hope he can turn things around but i doubt it…
Me watching the mx2 moto1 holeshot results
I kind of like this track. Perhaps too much emphasis on rollers, but getting rough. Nice berms, no ruts, riders can really move around.
So far, it seems like nothing has changed pace wise in MX2 compared to last year. Sacha riding on the very edge and Simon "slow" at the beginning and gets better as the race progresses. Both are still above the rest of the field.
That Coenen pass on Reisulis was a thing of beauty.
Pretty impressive results from the Reisulis bros.
Is the Yamaha better this year, or is just them?
Pardon my American ignorance, but who does the motors for that team? Has it changed?
Have kind of gotten used to the Austrian bikes ruling that roost in the 250 class.
Damn a whole feature on rookies in MXGP and not 1 mention of Benistant
