Knowing Larry he's going to scare the cancer right out of him. He doesn't take no bullshit.
Seriously wish the best for him.
A true OG that lives and breathes this sport. Class act post from the team as well.
I'll be praying.
Oh damn, bummer news. If anyone can beat it tho, it’s Larry Brooks. 👍. Hoping for the absolute best 🫶

LB is on my top 5 all time favorites. His epic photos in mxa on the 83 rm80 are etched in my brain. Wishing himt the best.

Come back as feisty as ever
Although I have not had the pleasure to meet and or get to know you I am sending you some Get well soon vibes.
Knock the shit out of the C.
Sending love, strength and positivity to him and his fam. You got this brother 🙏🏻👊🏻❤️
Love hearing more from LB like we have been recently in podcasts. Hoping for a positive outcome here!
Man, he was an ironman when he raced, and know he will take that attitude to this fight.
Get well soon.
Glad they caught it early.
Both my parents had colon cancer.
they caught it early in my mom, but not my dad.
I take no chances. going in Thursday for my every-five-year plumbing check.
encourage everyone else to get checked regularly.
Prayers are with you Larry.🙏
Sorry to hear this news. Definitley one of the good guys. If anyone can beat cancer, it's Larry.
Quick story....several years back, my buddy and I were in San Bernardino for the GH National. We figured we'd swing by Chaparral Motorsports for a quick browse. Little did we know, Larry was working there as a sales guy at the time. He came over and asked if we needed help with anything. What started as a simple question turned into a 20+ minute chat about everything moto....bikes, racing, 80's MX, the whole scene. The guy couldn't have been nicer or more engaging. He was genuinely appreciative to talk shop. I was doing my best not to come off like a total fanboy, because back in the '80s, he was one of my absolute favorite riders. I grew up poring over shots of him in MXA and Mini Cycle Rider/Racer. So seeing him in person, still so passionate about it all, was seriously cool. Made my day. Great memory!
Not good news but I'm glad they caught it early. Get well Larry and hopefully Ken or Jason gets a couple wins for you by the time you get back
Prayers for Larry and family during this time. All the best wishes for his speedy recovery.

Get well soon! Just a reminder to get your screenings. When I turned 50 I was leary of getting a colonoscopy so I did the cologuard thing. After reading of the limitations of this test I was second guessing my decision as there were some cases of colon cancer in distant relatives. This year(4 years later) I bit the bullet and had a colonoscopy. Didn’t even think the prep was super terrible, worse part was not eatting for 24 hours. Procedure was first thing in the morning, woke up after a nice nap and doctor said all good for another ten years. Don’t be afraid to get your screenings!
Larry back in the day when he came to South Africa to race a few of our SX and outdoor races.
We had one massive barbaque with all the American riders after one of the races. Larry is a great dude and I wish him a full recovery.
Get well soon! I'll be praying for you.
Positive thoughts for Brooks👍💪…. My first colonoscopy, I wake up when it’s over……. A nurse girl says…” hey I remember you from high school!” 😂
Classy, well written post. Well done pipes, and get well soon Larry.
Oof, they just lowered the first recommended colonoscopy age to 45, and last year I put it off. Need to take it a bit more serious this year.
Awesome of Kenny to dedicate the win to his buddy LB. Get well soon Larry, and I hope to see you again at a race or RM Army event soon!
This is the subject that deserves emotional reaction! Get well Larry!
