Has this been discussed yet?
I seen a social post stating Stew was on Pulp and hinting at the people seeing him ride at some point in 2026.
Been waiting a long time to see Stew ride again...Dude has probably been ripping in secrecy the last few years. He's cut these days and he has Malcom as a gauge to see where he's at with todays pace. If he's making a public appearance to turn some laps somewhere, you'd think he's gotta be feeling good.
Hands down the greatest rider to ever swing a leg over a bike, I look forward to seeing him ride again.
Imagine if he shreds the new 2t Kawi, the moto world would lose its shit
I really don’t see him “testing” in secret with Malcom for some random appearance. It’s not like he’d ever line up for a mx or sx again if anything LL.
I could totally see him doing that, actually. If he got the itch again (like most retired racers do at some point) why would you not go test with someone close to you like your brother who also happens to still be competitive at the highest level?
Never say never... Look what Dunge did...
Dunge thing is far fetched out there and it did happen. But, Stew isn’t going to try and hide from competitors if he’s not “racing” again. If he was doing Loretta’s it’s not like it’s going to change anything if a vid or pic gets out.

I feel like stew is the kinda guy who can spend a few hours at a private track in the middle of no where to set up some suspension, then show up at any a LL race and mop the floor with any vet or even up n comer. A little cardio off the bike is probably all it would take for him.
I don’t know if I’d have the cardio to keep up with a video like that if you know what I mean
Do we mean racing or just practice?
Just think ... mayyyybey just toss this around your grey matter ... maybe he actually likes goin out every once in a while and ridin his dirt bike. Just to ride with absolutely no destination in mind, the smile on his face is his destination. Nothing more nothing less.
Traci Lords gets naked every day to take a flippin shower, why don't you morans scream she's gettin back into porn !!!
James is 40 years old. Let him ride his dirtbike for fun like the rest of us. It’s doesn’t always have to be “wonder what he’s prepping for?”
Hope it makes him smile!
RJ made his 450 debut last year while being 42 years old. Anstie won A1 being 45 years old. I don't see your point.
Good grief
Maybe Wob is building him a '05 KX250SR replica to rip at VMXDN. A man can dream . . .
How cool would it be to see James and Chad at the Ranch in over 40. J Law must be getting close to 40 as well
doc if youre reading this IF YOU BUILD IT HE WILL COME
Shhhhh......you're going to wake up Meister....
So I guess I have a reason to try and qualify for Loretta’s in the 40 + class. If there is even a small chance that he will be racing there or debuting a new Kawi 2 stroke, that is enough for me to do the area and regional races!
Imagine if the first video back of James riding is on the new Kawi 2 smoke, that’s be rad!!!
Ummm...Max hasn't not broke the 40 yo barrier yet.
Pit Row
I heard Brand Ambassador for Kove
Im 40 now too. Ill wave when they lap me! Lol
Seemed pretty clear, just riding. Which is cool, personally id just like to see some of that classic JS style at whatever speed keeps him on two wheels..
Last time we saw a photo of him on a bike, he was on a Honda. Do we think he’s got a FC450 stored away at the compound? I don’t think he’d touch a brand that he felt dooped by in the past.
To go out and get smoked by guys that aren't amateurs is your dream??
Dood u need some new dreams
Small correction: RJ was 52 and Anstie 65...
I wonder what the turnout would be if he did a dedicated ride day at a public track like he did on the 2-stroke at Milestone all those years ago. He looks to be in great shape and I'm sure still rips, no doubt.
It's been interesting listening to and learning how analytical, smart and articulate Stew is. Seems like when he was riding he had a reputation of being so talented that he turned off his brain and just twisted the throttle.
Congratulations! Your first post without calling someone a "Branch Davidian"! Good job. Go for three in a row?
Did I also hear him say that his wife moved away and he's single Dadding it right now?
Unlikely we see him on the new KX two stroke. If he is wanting to make a public showing of it I'd be shocked if it weren't with Carson Brown.
If there was any way for Kawasaki to make up for their fumble on announcing this bike, it would be for James to intro it. If MX that is.
