Looks like the 6D guys have unveiled their new "Max" google system at the AIMExpo and supposedly Freddie Noren is going to race on Saturday with. Pretty cool. Only works with the 6D helmets. People who have tested say it works amazing, seals great and the field of vision is completely mind blowing. Even the lack of pressure on your face from googles is amazing. Tear off and roll-off's avail too.

Don't know much about else but is fun showing you all.

Pretty cool looking.

Will be cheering for Freddie Saturday just because.

I'm surprised nobody else has thought of this before. Getting goggles to sit well in helmets can be a pain as they're two items designed completely seperately but expected to slot together.

This idea has been around for 25 years or more except it was geared towards the Adventure Bike market. I always thought it would be nice to not have to wear goggles. arai

The amount it will improve breathing will be the main game changer.

I'm a huge 6D supporter and user since 2013, but I couldn't be much further out on this lol.

ATR-3 and Airbrakes is juuuust fine.

I think this was used (or a similar thing) was used in the Downhill MTB World Cups this year. Quite a neat idea.

Looks interesting…one concern- goggles pressed up against your face absorb sweat from running into your eyes.

Yes, I thought that was the point of why we didn’t just run full face helmets?

Great idea.  But summer motos in a hot environment, sweat would get on the inside of the lens I would think.

This design is the cats meow... until it gets dusty... or really hot...

I like the idea and look, but us poor souls that have optical inserts are out of luck at the moment.

That's what I wanted to see: a view from the side.

Although I still feel the 6D logo is terrible, everything around it, helmet, clean and simple graphics, goggles, look pretty cool IMO...

I would have to try it to know for sure, but my first thoughts are the lack of airflow other than the built in vents, and if there is no foam seal against your face I would think dust and dirt would be a problem?

Surely they thought of those things, right? If so and they are a non-issue, looks pretty good to me.

The lens doesn’t appear to be any closer than with a regular goggle. Not sure sweat will be any more, or less, of an issue. It’s certainly interesting.

I LOVE my 6D helmets but my first concern would be with dirt and dust flying around and off of chest it could deflect up into eyes.

BTW it's great seeing something NEW being shown at the AIMexpo Dealer convention. I didn't make it this year.

It looks like there is a foam seal around the bottom of the goggle frame where it meets your face and the top of the goggle frame seals against the helmet.

Turbo Reif’s Simpson ”road” helmet with a visor comes to mind… ages ago…

I wonder if it fits the ATR-2 like I have?

Nope, completely sealed from dust, etc. and since no goggle pressed against your face, forehead that can soak up sweat and start running into the lens...there's none of that.

Because they are not sealed from the bottom for dust, etc. to go up into.

The did...sealed from the bottom with foam on bridge of nose and some upper cheeks (like normal goggle). But above that helmet opens up as it in/on helmet not your face, forehead, etc.

Reece Wilson was running them in a couple DH races this year.

I haven’t went to the 6D site and poke around yet.  So I’ll ask the first dumb question.  Does these new goggles only fit 6D helmet.

I don’t even see googles on the 6D site.

It looks like it has short comings. But from what I've seen from 6D with their helmets, I can guarantee it's packed with innovation and quality.

There is still a goggle-like frame with foam in there.

It appears like there might be a little more room than a traditional goggle inside. Any word on whether or not glasses will fit under them?

I’m annoyed not having any modern frame OTG goggle choices from 100%
