Waiting for the Masterpool bedbugs to chime in 🤣🤣
Where did I say that? I said he can win races in one of the disciplines. Jo isn't going to be back to compete outdoors. His ceiling is higher than any other rider possibility they could muster up. That's all I said. Arguing with that is silly.
Tiger Wood?
I think the last Honda prospect to debut was Chance Hymas in 2022. Do they have anybody else in the pipeline? Are they really going to go 4 years between prospects? That seems like a long time.
Carson Brown - could call it the ERAS TOUR 🤣

I thought of him too but he tore his ACL 2 weeks ago at Aus X open
Oh, bummer. Injuries suck.
I wouldn't say it's silly, it's pretty valid. Since his win at high point a year ago, he's seen the podium one time. And that was 2 weeks after his win. Since then, he's been non existent or pretty lackluster minus the 4th at the second smx this year. How is that attractive to any top level team? especially given the families track record of being terrible to deal with. I'm a fan, but how many more shots is he going to get on top level teams before people stop pointing to him for every ride. Fill in or not, give it to someone who's going to at least show up.
What about Anthony Bourdon?
Again, I'm not arguing any of that or saying it should be him. Just that he is the only one available who has race winning speed. Getting on an HRC bike isn't going to turn Cullen Park or Tiger Wood into a potential race winner
You're saying what has he done since last years race win? The fact that you're trying to downplay a race win within the last 18 months as not amazing. No one else in the conversation even has that potential.
Again, all the other stuff is valid. I wasn't trying to make this a Ty should be the guy comment. Just saying no one can win that isn't on a team but maybe him.
Park
yes that is exactly what im saying. What has he done since his high point win? He's not a contender indoors, if he likes your bike he'll have a few good outdoor rides. What exactly am I saying that's wrong? I fail to understand why some people think masterpool just needs a good bike to get some wins, he's had plenty of good rides...and pisses them away every single time cause he's not allowed to practice at home. Shit he blew his pc ride and they let him ride at home
Is he def out till outdoors? Man that sucks, he was looking like he was about to have the best sx season of his career. He def has some bad luck like last year breaking his fingers at the 2nd race.
I upvoted that, not because I think he's got a real chance of a HRC fill in ride, but I've been a bit of a follower of him since I first found him doing the MX1 / 450 MXGP class on KTM 250 2 Strokes, many years ago - I think from around 2009?
He's had a fair few injuries, yet comes back.
He's now 36, coming up on 37, and is racing all around the World, still.
A 'Journeyman' Racer, as they say.
I hope he's making a reasonable living, while getting to still do what, I assume, he loves to do.
Bro no one said any of that. I simply said of all the available fill in riders he's the only one that has proven speed to run up front. Anyone else who can run upfront indoors or outdoors is on a team. Not counting retired Jmart.
Pop Shmoke : "He def has some bad luck like last year breaking his fingers at the 2nd race".
A F**kwit (my most vitriolic word / description of , well, "F**wits') broke his fingers.
I can't, offhand, recall which mechanic it was / what team he was from, but I saw, after that, Feld / AMA Pro, still having Pit Board spots, that could allow a Board to hit a rider. It's just bloody Amateur Hour, so often in our sport. Even at it's supposed 'pinnacle'.
Alex Larwood, 2nd in the Aus sx series. Young and still getting faster.
He is not a winner in supercross. Just not happening. He has the speed outdoors but not indoors. I don't think giving him a factory bike will make him a race winner either in supercross. He had plenty of opportunity with factory bikes.
no one is talking outdoors here.
Pit Row
There is no one available that is capable of a podium, Honda just need someone on the track up the pointy end.
Well I was if you read what I said. I clearly stated outdoors multiple times because Jo will be out for most of outdoors and it's possible he misses the entire season. He isn't going to be competitive in any series this year.
But if you want to look at SMX, he was the highest ranked rider without a ride which was the only point I made. I am not even advocating for him to get the ride. I just stated a simple fact that he's the rider with the highest potential ceiling that could fill in. No amount of whining about the warts he has changes that.
Park was haulin' the mail at WSX Gold Coast. I say give him the shot.
I think he’s injured too. Larwood is filling in for him in WSX.
You’ve mentioned a few times now that Jo will either miss most of outdoors or he’s out for the year. Where did that info come from? Honda’s PR said, “[Jo] is expected to make a full recovery, though it is common for that process to take approximately three months with this injury.”
Bourdon is doing the Indian supercross its on the same weekend.
Don’t say it too loud…the guy who says he worked with him at PC will find this thread and tell you how lazy Carson is hah!
Kevin Sherman from Florida.
Jimmy D.
There was a facebook post last night that said Honda has no plans to fill Jo's spot.
Cool, thanks.
I'm just comparing it to previous injuries that I've seen. Jeremy Martin and Pierce Brown are two to reference. Of course everyone is different, I jam just being realistic in the timeline is all. I hope it's a quick recovery and he's back.
Post a reply to: Does Honda fill in for Jo in SX?
