So much for sporting integrity. No one who has read the rulebook believes this is in any way appropriate. This is a terrible look for the AMA as a whole and SX/SMX in particular. I hope Team Honda HRC takes them to court. Based on the previous precedents and the actual text of the rulebook I'd think they'd have a good shot at winning such a case. Who gets the liability when this happens again and the signal or flag is ignored based on this precedent and someone is paralyzed or killed?

I heard a rumor that Anthony Bourdon will remain at Bar X Yamaha (formerly Suzuki) for 2025 (250 SX only). Not sure on if Max Miller, Preston Buespflug or Dilan Schwartz will return for next year. It'll be interesting to see how Triumph will do with Forkner, Swoll, Smith and Roberson next season then Savatgy if he stays!

Not silly season rumors per se but RJ confirmed he’s making the move to 450’s next summer after 250 SX. That’ll be fun to see!

Unless they also mentioned Chiz, I believe what you heard was them saying it's Deano's last pro national. Deano and Chiz were battling for one of the last SMX spots that put you straight into the race instead of having to go the LCQ each round and that's when they said it's Dean's last national. He made a post about it on Instagram as well.

He mentioned before when he signed with HEP that he was given a lot of freedom in that he could continue racing as long as he wants or go into a different role with the team.
