It’s a hard argument not to put Kenny at the top.

Heel clickers on a 250 at 10-11 years old. Hammered and signing boobs at Red Bud. Beers at presser and podium.
When you hang with Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) in your down time, you're F-ing cool.

Falta for me as well. Some others I thought had 'it' in different ways were Weil, Wolsink, Stackable, Tony D....
Christian Dresser always had cool vibes. I really miss the State of Ethos gear. Such cool looking stuff
Trevor Stewart
These would be my top 4 in no particular order
Dean Wilson
Kevin Windham
James Stewart
Trey Canard
Rick Johnson
David Bailey
James Stewart
Ron Lechien
Justin Barcia
Controversial probably but I always thought Pourcel was cool
Best part of Vital is it’s like a consistent Time Machine.
Seeing different generations join and have different icons/hero’s or what they define cool.
It’s honestly great to see. And with an open mind… I can relate to certain aspects of why.
From the old battlers on here showing us fellas riding duel shocks to the lad throwing whips in a blazer jacket, and all between. Rad stuff.
Great Thread OP.

Brock Sellards is in my top five.
A young Paul Newman.
Marty banged my Aunt in High School. I saw him at Borona years ago and asked him about her, he said it was a total blast from the past. Haha. RIP
only lil to no mention of Maryland’s own TP199 🤔
Pit Row
Is the second image from Palm Ave in San Diego?
I thought they both were.
He definitely had a sense of humor. I wish I still had the Kenny bartram poster he signed as “hairy ballz” for me when I was 10-11 lol
Yep both. They're from a 1988 CR500 magazine test, I don't remember wich mag. MXA or Dirt Bike. RJ quote "This thing is the ultimate play bike" I stared at those pics for months, if I had money in 1988 I'd have bought one.
Wow! I didn't know there were pictures of this anywhere! So Cool!
I recognized this from 40 years ago!
When you looked at the jump in person, it seemed much steeper. It also looked like it would kick you away from the hill, and that you'd never make it to the top.
But, after watching others climb it, I finally went for it. I knew that it required total commitment, and I did not, under any circumstances, want to come up short!
I know that I climbed it at least once. The adrenaline was incredible! The rest of my memory is a bit fuzzy, since it was 40 years ago. I believe i dropped down, then hit the climb one more time and called it a day.
I was riding a '78 Yz125.
So F'ing cool to see this! Thanks Sumdood!
That style of sideburn needs to make a comeback.
I was a huge fan of Darryn Durham during the east coast is toast series. Somebody who has that chill of a personality coupled with that much talent on a bike is ultra cool in my book.
johnny O'
I remember they asked him about the beer at the presser and his diet or something like that and he just said “I drink Coors light every weekend”. 🤣
This! ⬆️ 🍻
And the suit!! I wonder how the rest of the riders felt when fkn james bond showed up!🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
