RJ’s second or third charge toward the front in Moto 2 was the highlight of the event for me. We (the USA and motocross fans in general) are lucky to have him. The man is a throttle hand attached to a heart.

Aus had some pretty bad luck with Webster down on the start both races and still managed to win handily. Not as unlucky as Belgium and Germany though. Going forward I think Aus and Bel are going to be 2 powerhouse teams

RJ should not be immune to criticism. Yea he tried his best… until he pulled off the track and didn’t finish the moto… and put up an abysmal choke job
And did anyone see him cross the track? Dude was about a second from causing a dangerous crash.
We as a team used RJ‘s seventh place in our scoring, which means that he contributed to our second place. This was a team effort and one of the scores has to be dropped no matter who it is or what the reason for that score is. RJ did his part and we barely held off team France for second place thanks to Eli‘s heroic ride in the third Moto. I say again, great job team, USA!
100% needs something - went to the MXoN at home, left early, then went online to throw a fellow countrymen (who rode his heart out for the flag!) under the bus. What a whopper!
Tomac and JCoop both finished 2nd overall. Impressive for those guys. Shimoda 2nd in open was awesome. This isn’t an RJ event. He’s been twice and neither time worked out. He rides over his head. I’m sure he’s bummed. Good day of racing, now we are officially in the off season.

I'm pretty disappointed in all the hate for the track prep, the broadcast, individual performances etc.
As for RJ, he knew a good ride wouldn't be enough. He put in the extra effort trying to achieve a ride for the ages and couldn't pull it off. So we would rather he went 3-6 or something even though it wouldn't have allowed is to win?
Don't lump him in with "us Americans,," please. Plenty of us appreciate the effort from RJ, who stepped up to fill in for Chase. And people wonder why the passion to be on the team is dying. Ungrateful fams
