I don't doubt the manufacturers hold the AMAs leash, and I'm sure they are constantly jockeying for the most advantageous rules and interpretation. I am surprised that would be spoken by an active participants camp. It doesn't really portray any of the industry in a positive light.

I cannot imagine Kawasaki stakes their reputation on being able to manipulate a dirt bike racing competition in the United States.
 

Yes most of the manufacturers are pretty diverse conglomerates. Someone posted a huge pallet of green garbage cans with KHI on the side years ago.

I don't find what was said insightful or interesting, but given what's in the riders contacts, I'm curious how AMA, Star, Yamaha, and Monster perceive it.
