Watching "the science of SMX", where Kawi was explaining us how to set up a bike, with an intro filled with images of Prado "cruising", was the best moment of the day.

🤣

Nobody is arguing that Soggy. We are just saying the USA is pretty diverse of itself. Europe is complete with centuries old cultures, languages, life styles, but the New World has much, not more, to contribute to humanity. The USA has arguably a larger population in areas than many ethnicities than Europe.

When did I say they went back?

No I was being sarcastic. I have a passport but Beeby assumed I didn’t because I mentioned the US has different time zones, climates and cultures.

Wow, did I ever call this one wrong as I honestly thought Prado had a chance outdoors. This sucks for everybody.

I could have swore Townley got some kind of title.

Europe is getting more diverse by the second. So I'm calling Europe a winner in the diversity olympics. The only issue is, is that a good thing? Or a bad thing? And, if native Europeans with deep roots think it's a bad thing, can they do anything to change it???

That makes so little logic. Paying him millions with hundreds of thousands of dollars of infrastructure to support his efforts, sending him from one end of a continent to another to test, and you think Kawasaki conspired not to support him?

You actually think KHI hired Prado to destroy his career? Thai is fucked up.

Look at the bright side, Prado didn’t crash his brains out and Bailey isn’t joking that he needs training wheels like he said about Albertyn.

No, I only said that because you sounded like someone who’d never left your suburb. Anyone who’s actually traveled wouldn’t say what you did seriously—surely? No one in America genuinely believes this country has the same diversity and variety as Europe. It had to be a wind up

This.

They can get a world champ for free (bonus only).

If he's toast no one will blame the bike nor the team.

If he wins no one will stop talking about it.

Guys like aees will absolutely blame the bike, but this time the narrative will be the production bike sucks and he needs his works bike. I have no idea how he'll perform (if he even stays in the US), but there is definite downside for KTM.

I can't imagine Roger witnessing Budds Creek and still being okay with that guy on the team.

He truly believes it’s a bike issue.
He even turned down a great deal of money.
Sometimes factory teams actually do a worse job setting up the bikes.
Even Cianciarulo could only make the bike work for a couple of laps.
Adam never raced on anything other than Kawasaki, so he thought it was on him.

When was it that AC could only hold onto the Kawi for only a couple laps? When he has irreversible nerve damage? Not quite the same thing. When AC was healthy he had top end speed nobody could match

You think Herlings, Gasjer, or AC in their prime would finish 6th over here? Not a chance

I tuned into the U.S. series this weekend with a fresh enthusiasm and an open mind to watch the most prestigious championship in the world — and it delivered. The track was dialed, the TV coverage was first-class, and the endless drug commercials (with side effects longer than the motos) were the cherry on top. Why would I waste time on MXGP with its 20-man gates and back-to-back motos on “garbage” tracks — because clearly ZMAX Dragway is the gold standard.

SO...did anyone cover/figure out why his contract disallows him from Nation's? My guess is/was he said he is not doing SMX so they said fine you can't do Nation's then? Either way that charlotte track had like 12 endos and crashes in that same rhythm. Probably a good race not to run. It was mega dangerous.

I think it has more to do with him leaving Kawasaki soon and them not wanting him to show up at mxon on a different bike and do well(potentially).

Facts, but this is not a pro National it’s a message board where we discuss all things motocross, up to and including the riders and their results or lack there of.

True. This is a forum for those who never made it, but we`re still talking like experts 😂

What I’ve gathered from this thread is that the four time champion of the illustrious world championship went to that little national series in the US and couldn’t even muster a podium. Do I have that right?

100% fact…. But if you say it disparagingly, you’re going to get hammered by the Prado apologists.

I can’t get over the “bike is dangerous” part.  That signals drama queen to me.

I was excited to have him come over, but only Friese has turned me into a non fan faster than Prado.
