I don't. I think it's a disaster waiting to happen. Just ask Prado, Weimer, Millsaps, Reed, Prado, Ando.

But not as good as on the previous generation KX. I think it's undeniable that the US team hasn't figured out the current gen bike. Combine that with their history of being conservative with bike development and you have critical offseason coming up.

Sexton is seemingly one of the more demanding (demanding a lot of the team) riders in the pits at the moment and he wont go easy on them if the bike is off and there isn't any major progress during the season. They need to learn and get better from the shitshow that has been 2025.

Except Sexton will ride hard, be very competitve and not throw the whole team under the bus, while they work to sort things out. Exact opposite of Prado the whiner.

Not for nothing, JA had also been throwing up in his helmet at a lot of the MX rounds.

So maybe Kawi is doing fine setting the bike up and running a factory racing effort.

The KX450 hasn't won a US Championship in the last 5 years.

Why does it matter how long it’s been since Kawi won a championship? How long for Honda before the Lawrences. How long for Suzuki before Carmichael? Cmon man, the chmpshp thing is bs.

These type of stats are interesting for historical purposes but with totally new models every three years or so and so dependent on who the dominant rider is it really doesn’t mean much.

If KTM get their stuff together and the riders gel with the bike that will be a powerhouse team.

Can’t see any individual rider beating Jett but they will be right there.

McGrath won on Honda, then Suzuki (not the title), then on Yamaha.

Carmichael won on Kawasaki, then Honda, then Suzuki.

To your point, thinking / blaming the equipment is, when talking about the established manufacturers, voodoo-gremlin stuff.

The team has a lot to do with it too. Examples would be:

McGrath's Suzuki throttle didn't open all the way, and his clutch was assembled wrong because it was missing a bearing. Would getting those right have made up the 15 points? We'll never know.

Carmichael had a very "custom" KX that was using the old 98 frame cobbled in to the newer gen bike at the end. The claim is that bike turned everything around for him.

Did you forget about JS7 on a Kawi, Yamaha and Suzuki. Great riders will win on whatever they line up on.

CDR is only doing the Aussie SX Series this year, they pulled out of WSX.

I would go Honda for Aussie SX and also SX is USA next year

Deano and JB doing Australian SX.

Craig is likely to be with Yarrive's Honda team, but in WSX...interest in a US deal as well but they're trying to sort it out.
