Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
If someone wins a 31 round series without winning a single race, I'd argue there's something wrong with your points format.
I'll forgo on this occasion. But obviously a lot of people don't seem to have a problem with elite multi-million dollar salary athletes showing up to compete out of shape, or often not competing at all. Any other sport and they'd be benched.
As you can see from your down votes Dawg, people like 'themselves some Cooper Webb round these here parts'.
RC and RV and pretty cut and dry about this exact point using Chase as an example.
Vital seems to ignore Youtube time stamps...starts at 40 min 50 secs and goes for about 10 minutes.

Jaggers Dad in?
Sounds like he is getting a procedure done on his knee which probably means a scope and torn meniscus.
He was hanging with Tomac at REDBUD - didn't look half bad IMO....respect the vet
Well now there's a 450 available if any of the 250 guys wanna get their feet wet......
I disagree about the need to win a race. What if 31 other riders all won races but crashed their brains out 30 different times trying to keep up with the champ, who quietly took 2nd at each round? I'd take that championship money all the way to the farthest bank, laughing the whole time.
Now, in the case of the SMX playoffs, I think there could be an alteration to the points structure. I'd actually be in favor of no points reset.
Kinda disrespectful to refer to Paige's Husband that way
Arguably its why Luka Doncic was traded from the Mavs to the Lakers in the NBA. Mavs management complained he was continually out of shape and injured because of it. And he was (IS) making $46 million per year
lol im surprised it took this long. let vacation begin
If we were in the middle of SX season he would have toughd it out
Not if nearly everyone else missed like a third of the races.
Now the wisdom of having a 31 race series in a high-injury sport could be called in to question, though.
Maybe we need to bring back an "open" class and/or a 125 class. Then have 3 or 4 classes, but only have them run about 10 SX and 10 MX every year, but have them alternate off weeks throughout the seasons, so the promotors can still end up with 30 or 35 weeks of racing. But none of the racers end up doing more than 23 races (including SMX).
Same. He literally said at the SX finale that he didn't care about outdoors.
The ultimate doctors note.
I need one of those to excuse myself from the next 3 months of corporate drudgery.
I assume this triggers some sort of insurance clause so he still gets some compensation?

Pit Row
2nd best off season ever!
We all would if we had the points lead like he usually does.
Wow, tough crowd.
He took the SX title, he still rode half the outdoor series until an injury and he's pushing 30.
You gotta figure the SX champ misses out on a ton of outdoor testing so they start off in the hole. Not to mention the mental fatigue from taking the SX title.
I'd say he did OK this summer.
