I think that would be a bad move on both sides.
No.
Your out of your mind if you think HRC are letting those boys go anywhere.
They and they're family love HRC...the will ALWAYS acknowledge the other brother when one podiums/wins and they sure as shit ride the wheels of the red bike.
Little respect also eh? Hunter Lawrence is an animal.
Not happening. Would not shock me a bit if they lock them both down long term to keep the ball rolling...... That family, and HRC are a perfect match

I thought I saw mention on here that he was going to Ducati or Triumph, I think it was Ducati.
As for "Jett's brother", I think it's kind of funny when Cooksey says that. Hunter has been riding great, credit where it is due.
Ahh a Cooksey stan. Thread makes sense now. Got any more hot takes for the crowd?
I listen to Cooksey, not a fan particularly, but I listen on my way to and from work. I like Gypsy best for getting good content...I can look past the "bros" and jiu jitsu. I think the moto media better watch it or some of these underdogs might start taking a bigger piece of their pie (Matthes, Weege, DC).
Yes, he is leaving to ride for Bridgestone.
That is the same HRC that let The GOAT go, greatest MX racer ever. They also let The King go, greatest SX racer ever. So yes HRC could make silly moves again.
These threads always make me laugh when people say HRC or whoever would never let the Lawrence’s go.
darren already stated tht if the opportunity presented it self , they would entertain the idea of letting hunter do his own thing
I mean Lars is the team manager…the same Lars that was effectively aware of all time greats getting let go in their prime. I think he’s doing a great job managing the big picture and will continue to do so.
Also, Hunter Lawrence has consistently run with and beat so many greats throughout the season and his career. If it weren’t for his brother he’d be the big name up and comer.
MC wanted to leave.
HRC were gunning for JS and at that time without know how JS career would pan out, do you blame them for going after JS in front of RC?.
JS stuck with Kawi and RC went to Suzuki before Honda got the rejection from JS so it was more complicated than just ”let them go”
JT talked in a podcast about the amazing symmetry in that team and, specifically, Hunter's key role. I don't see any way he leaves.
There's no way Hunter would walk away from the Lawrence Factory Fan Extravaganza Experience Zone royalties
Hrc loves you while you are winning….when the winning stops…ask RJ & OShows…while we are on the subject of HRC….do Wil and Ricky know that when you say…Honda HRC, you are saying….Honda, Honda racing corporation? Seems redundant to say Honda twice….
However it’s worded, nothing is for sure and history repeats this over and over no matter the names and players and companies involved.
Agreed in a way. But regardless of how you want to “word” it great riders and great bikes always manage to separate in different ways.
Remember that JS7 guy you mentioned that stuck with Kawasaki, ya Kawasaki dumped him after going 24-0…
The statement "if it weren't for Jett, Hunters results would look incredible..." Yes, they would look amazing no doubt (still do). But I also think riding and training with Jett day in and day out is a big reason why he is that good and consistent now. Same for Jett by the way. This is a result of a big team and family effort after all.
I don't really see them splitting up ever, they're on top of the MX world right now, it doesn't get better than this and only one of them can finish on top. Just going off Hunters interviews aswell, he for sure wants to beat Jett obviously but he rather sees his brother on top than anyone else and finishing 1-2 as brothers in the premier class is just the cherry on top, I doubt his ego will get in the way.
Pit Row
You beat me to it.
The brothers, and HRC have a symbiotic relationship like we've not seen in motocross recently, if ever.
And Hunter is running at the head of, the best of the rest.
Apart from substatually more money, and a #1 position on a team, why would he leave, there is no oportunity to win, and results could only worsen.
Why would he want that, or why would another team pay for that?
Someone on here or a podcast mentioned recently that Monster wanted to sign him
It's gotta suck a little for Hunter. Imagine being one the fastest riders in the world and still being overshadowed by your younger brother. Remember when HRC took over their 250 program and everyone was saying he only got the ride because of Jett? It seems like they're a good family unit, along with their dad. HRC would be foolish, I think, to let him get away.
But what would happen to Ghost Town ?
I don’t see it happening, but it certainly would mix things up.
It seems Hunter does the bulk of the testing and setup work. I could see Jett losing an edge without Hunter in his corner. Would Hunter be better with another team though, I don’t think so, but maybe, maybe not.
I just hope we see big brother straight up beat little bro one day soon.
Bro I hope he at least still wins an overall this year with how he rides. He was soo close multiple times now.
They, within themselves, as a family, are a true team effort. Nobody is left behind at all. They gel with HRC in training, testing, and being the complete package regardless of which Son wins. In their eyes, they are all winners, and Honda knows it..... Therefore, let's all stay put and polish what already gleams. That family isn't going ANYWHERE for a long time....... Honda will see to it. HRC loves winning..... and they have 2 that can at anytime. Anywhere.
Going to kawasaki? i kid i kid😆
Be interesting if he went to Ducati to test the waters for Jett in the future. Would be such a sick flex from them.
Have the Lawrences signed the "largest motocross deal in the history of the sport" yet? Mirtl was yabbing on about how he had just signed the largest deal ever in mx after he got busted
So yeah same with any other team when their winning rider doesn't win anymore ?
You work for Honda HRC Bro?
