Christian Craig is completely unable to breath without a handlebar light, hence the adversity.

Reynards '98 Unadilla 125 wasn't a big bore.
We were at a dealership earlier this year and I said, man, I've wanted to ask you this forever.
He said his dad built the engine that summer. It was a ripper!
I'm like, you wheelied by RC in 4th gear down a straight.
Do yourself a favor and watch that first 125 moto. RR put a whoopin' on the field.

Thank you.

I totally forgot about that moto. Robbie was all out flying!

I don’t necessarily agree with this one, but there’s a surprisingly large amount of people that truly believe Bobby Bonds was going to be one of the sport’s next greats if it wasn’t for GL putting him on the ground at Hangtown.

The manufacturers colluded together and made four strokes so they could increase the prices and reliance on dealership service, due to more moving parts and potential failures, despite the machines originally being technically inferior, then pressured the AMA to outlaw 2 strokes. Oh, wait...

I think the "Epstein-Barr Virus" excuse is complete garbage. Its used when a rider X isn't riding to their potential and they need to figure out either the bike or themselves. Only this sport uses this term so much... Its all lies. And I've never seen video proof of said rider being sick with it...ever.

I mean, they had this technology over 40 years ago. Surely they can see the virus in 'em now!

I can refute at least the "only this sport" portion.

It's been focused on in lots of other sports. Example: Mark Cavendish: Never Enough on Netflix is an entire feature documentary completely about cyclist Mark Cavendish's personal battle to overcome effects of Epstein-Barr.

That said, conclusively correlating a performance drop as being due to Epstein-Barr seems impossible, since nearly every adult (over 95% of adults, and pretty much everyone in any sport) carried EBV.

I definitely smirk a bit at "tested positive for Epstein-Barr." Well, yes, most people do.

What is the rule if it’s damaged or dislodged during the race, would you be penalized?

Racing on dirt is bad! Tracks must be a combination of sand/sawdust prescription dirt and plowed a foot deep?

Out of curiosity, what is this obsession with a gay Suzuki rider? This has been a common topic over the last few months and longer. Maybe this will paint me in a bad light, but I don’t give two shits what someone puts in their own (insert orifice here), so long as they don’t try and shove their beliefs down mine. There should be some type of respect for each other that things not pertaining to motocross are off limits; just on a human to human level.

All I can tell you is this rumor goes back AT LEAST 25 years. My neighbor and his buddies would joke about it on the desert riding trips we all took together. I was 15 years old and thought it was the funniest shit at the time.

When I bring it up now it's just me carrying it on as a nostalgic nod. I've heard/seen it mentioned over and over randomly at races, at the track, etc. countless times over the years. I don't know (or care) if it's based on anything real. If real, it would have been an 80s or 90s guy.

Edit: Hell, for all I know the rumor started 40+ years ago. Who knows! Just one of those things that kept going.

It was an early 80s Suzuki rider.

RV and his mechanics wife

Jeannie and Aldon

McGrath's Suzuki throttle didn't open all the way.

McGrath's Suzuki clutch was missing a bearing.

The Mike Goodwin / Micky Thompson tragedy was once regarded as a conspiracy.

Lots of rumors I no longer even recall about the Vegas SX strike over lighting back in the 90s.

Details escape me, but the user Insport and the AMA split and we had 2 series was rife with conspiracies.
