Women’s chest protector

Hey guys, I’m looking for a chest protector for my wife. she is big chested. Does anybody know of a chest protector designed with that in mind?

she is 5.2 115lbs

With 30DDD’s

I haven’t been able to find anything that will fit her comfortably. If anyone has some advice for me I’d appreciate it.

Based on those specs you've supplied -- by my expert calculations ,  she's carrying approx 21% of her body weight there---  That is some serious business 😗

I don't blame you...protect those. That being said...I volunteer. I'll protect them.

Fox made a women's specific chest protector a while back that had a curved chest area to accomodate women.

Just looked on eBay and saw this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/365625555539

I tried one for my wife, the girls wound up squishing out the sides under her arms, it wasn't a horrible look, plus it got her elbows up into the attack position, but she was less than enthused about it lol

LOFreakingL!!!

OP- Not familiar with the Leatt, but do have experience with the Fox R3 chest pro. Worked well for my wife and daughter, but I am a bit skeptical of how it may fit your wife. Best thing would be taking her to try on any that you can possibly find to see what fits best. May require ordering and returning a few, unfortunately.

Pics or it didn't happen Smile

Anyway, I am a big advocate of chest protectors, but here there is not too much needed with the new Alpinestars already included.

jk, good luck

I forgot to say, on behalf of everybody, I HATE YOU ! Smile

I learned a fun fact about JT. Their original product was Moto socks that were actually soccer socks made in TJ.  They ordered a bunch of "soccer socks",  turned TJ around into JT and sold them as moto socks. Lol True story.

They were also one of the first, if not first, companies to pay a motocross athlete for their endorsement. A whopping $100.

Thanks for all the input fellas I didn’t find anything that’s gonna work just yet. I think I’m going to order a few different chest protectors and just return whatever doesn’t work.

Risking the integrity of the protector or not, a heat gun might be what is best to modify one of the sturdier plastic chest protectors ?

Kind of fun seeing an old post of mine referenced after 4 years.

Since that post we have had a few different chest protectors for my wife. Currently, her favorite is Alpinestars bionic chest protector. She finds it comfortable and even wears it under her jersey. Here's a link for you to look at: https://www.alpinestars.com/products/bionic-action-chest-protector?_gl=1*57gpy0*_up*MQ..*_ga*OTY0NDA1MTU2LjE3NDg5NTc2OTg.*_ga_4F5T8GR6E9*czE3NDg5NTc2OTYkbzEkZzAkdDE3NDg5NTc3MDIkajU0JGwwJGgyMTU5NDg1OTg.

I'll also add that it might be worth looking into Alpinestars A-5 plasma chest protector. My wife got me that one this year. It's more flexible than any other chest protector and molds to your body after putting it on. Super comfortable.
