No one cares what gay people wanna do in their private life. But the whole gay rights thing has quickly turned into “you better call me by my preferred pronoun or else.” Oh and now we have a bunch of dudes pretending to be girls, so they can finally get a first place trophy. Bingo! My older brother is gay. Could care less. Even got into a few fights 20 years ago when we were in high school with people who would make fun and talk shit about him. Where the whole pride/lgbtq thing loses me is around the "forced acceptance".... you either accept the fact that I'm this way or you're labeled a bigot, a homophobe, etc. I think that is where they lose a lot of other people, too.

YES! And that's exactly why people react like this. We don't give a shit if someone wants to be gay or a if they identify themselves as frikking squirrels, as long as you're not a bad human people literally don't care, but constantly getting reminded that you have to tolerate and accept certain type of people is just so unnecessary and forced through media at this point. Just annoying af.
