The age stuff is simply stupid. I don’t know why another thread is needed on this but the only thing possible is an injury or an ailment. The bike didn’t magically break. He didn’t forget how to ride. He’s not mad over money. He’s not missing his Porsche. He’s not upset about his brother. Stop it lmao.

If I’m suddenly smoking a guy by 30 seconds, three races in a row, and he’s still insisting everything is fine and that he’s the same guy who was gapping everyone at the start of the season, that would give me way more confidence than if he just came out and said “you guys are only beating me because I aggravated x,y,z.” Just saying

He owes nobody an explanation. However, that choice opens the door to speculation. Would be the same in any sport. Neither option changes what is happening on track.

Well from someone that works in the er, most er's don't do mri's unless emergent. A foot isn't emergent. A CT scan, sure, but it won't give you the view an MRI will. That's why they don't go to er. Why go sit in an ear for hours? If I'm triage and joe comes in for treatment in a busy ER. Joe going back to the lobby and await his X-ray. Then maybe a few hours later he will get a cheap splint/boot and some crutches and discharge papers to follow up with ortho Monday. Chase, I would take more...

Way too many hack doctors and hospitals to do that.

Because the ER is not specialists and who knows what doctor is on call that night. The A-stars guys are ER docs and would send him if required. If it was life threatening or a compound fracture, yes they would need to go there, but these guys see doctors that are the best in their field with the latest procedures, not a random ortho in STL when they live in FL.
