What happened to JMart this weekend?
Lap charts show him 33rd at the end of lap 1 in the 1st moto and 35th at the end of lap 1 in the 2nd moto.
He did not die so there's that. With the current 250 field I wasn't expecting magic but I think he'll be a little better each week.

Not sure there were any issues fans and viewers aren't aware of, but either his speed was off the mark more than anticipated or a mix of a bad start in the moto's and other bad luck? Always a fan, and this wasn't what I expected results wise, so hopefully he only goes up from here.

Yes, early on in his career, on the 250, JM was flying.
Then Webb upstaged him outdoors. The same Webb who is currently described as a SX'er, not a MX'er.
Pre season he was faster than everyone besides J Coop. Don’t know what happened yesterday.
I was watching him on Saturday, he didn't look bad at all, just got buried off the start both motos.
On the pulp show they said Jmart was down with Forkner off the start of moto 1 and worked up to 20th and same thing in moto 2, got tangled or buried off the start and was almost last and worked up to 20th again.
I think as the season progresses he will get comfier and bring that practice speed to the races. Give him some time to get dialed. A good start will make a huge difference.
I saw that Dawg in him at Fox.
He just kept charging. I'm glad he's racing!
Apparently he crashed a couple of times in practice/qualifying.
On one of the pulp shows they said he was running 10 miles, riding two 40's, then running 10 more miles. I was wondering if he's overdoing it during the week.
Wasn’t expecting fireworks though I was hopeful. I’d be willing to wager nobody made as many passes as Jeremy did the entire weekend. He’ll get better. Happy he’s healthy!

Been off the bike over a year. And in reality its more like 3 years off the bike with all the injuries. Give him some time. Hopefully he can find the top ten and then get better. Its great to see him out there.
I didn't watch moto 2 but moto 1 he was in 21st then 20th for the majority of the race. He didn't progress beyond that.
Hopefully he continues to build. But in saying that, considering how the likes of Kitchen etc did I guess it wasn't too bad

Sure, it's a pretty good result for a former 2x outdoor champ on the best bike in the class. One would expect him back racing privateers. It's not bad.
One of things I like about the Martin boys...if you ask them...they will tell ya. Teeth kicked in...he knows where he's at. I bet he's closer to top 10 this week.
Does Star need him riding their bike? Seems like they have a fair few out there as it is. Sponsors cannot surely be demanding another on track? Seems odd they call him to ride
Didn't Jmart wax him in 2014 and 2015. Then he pitted out of a van beside the star tent in 2016 and had his bike break one race? He also had a gnarly back injury thanks to Jcoop. Maybe I'm remembering wrong.
With Max and Cole out they're still technically rolling out less riders than expected I'd imagine?
And Pierce Brown. Daxton Bennick should be back after Hangtown possibly? Nate Thrasher didn’t line up for moto 2 after being ran over multiple times in a early pileup. Only have Deegan, Mosiman & Martin currently racing
