Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
The highest level would be Blair and Stewart.
If you listen back to the privateer challenge play by play -that sets a new bar in my opinion.
When Hunter was in the booth a few races ago, dude was fresh air. AC JT JB are natural broadcasting talent.
It just is what it is.
Eventually, everybody winds up in the the LCQ of life. No shame in that.
Again, it is what it is, but it should be called what it is. No matter what the heck they say it is.
You shouldn’t even bothered getting out of bed. No one cares
We’re talking Moto bro
Ya sound like a Tesla scratcher.
if you have anything good to say in this post, shut the heck up

Why has Weege been MIA in the booth? I thought he’d do more this year.
It’s frustrating that none of his colleagues will correct him on this “steel frames flex more, suit this track, bla bla bla” tirade that he’s been on over the last month or so.
Would pay extra to just hear the bikes and crowd noise at this point. Literally mute most of every broadcast. If I had my druthers, Weedge/James in booth, JT on floor would be ideal. The other 3 and the producer need to go
Guys, but what about Atlanta 2005?!?!
Yeah, he is obsessed with the steel frames working better because they flex more. I'm not so sure they do flex more because they were saying they were too stiff before this latest KTM frame. I would like to hear from Luxon to get his take on this.
Since RC won titles on aluminum and steel framed bikes, my gut tells me he may know a little about them.
Maybe, maybe not
JT is the best thing that the broadcast has to offer currently. Followed by James when he is in the booth and then Weege.
Other than those 3, everything else needs to be overhauled.
Ah so you think a steel frame from 2007 and one from today are the same?
THAT'S the problem with RC. He doesn't actually pay attention to the sport anymore, not the nuanced stuff like that. That's why he can't tell you the difference between any of the privateers. It's pretty much common knowledge the steel frames got too stiff, and the aluminum frames had to be stiffened the last few years. Look at the added material on the Honda frames the last couple years.
RC is out of touch. He said $25k is a "little extra cash" for the privateer who won the LCQ Challenge.
"Suzuki lowered the subframe by 10mm in order to drop the seat height and moved the footpeg brackets back 5mm to account for Ricky’s shorter stature. Carmichael also prefers 106mm of sag and runs a completely different rising-rate linkage from the stock RM-Z450 link. As a result, the rear end had a squat that took time to get used to, especially in flat corners without a rut or berm. The lowered back end of Carmichael’s bike made the front end feel light, which didn’t make it as precise as we would have liked. "
"We know from experience. Ricky was infamous for his off-the-wall suspension setup. When we tested Ricky’s Supercross-winning CR250 in 2003, we couldn’t believe that he could win anything on a bike that hung down in the rear and didn’t move unless a nuclear bomb went off under the rear wheel. That all changed after Chad Reed started beating him during the latter rounds of the 2003 Supercross series. Honda showed Ricky videotapes of his bike and Reed’s YZ going through the same sections. It was then that Ricky realized that he needed to let the Honda suspension technicians change his settings. "
Good question. He's been at the races, so who knows.
Weege does the floor announcer some weeks, last week being one of them
I think it was at the end of RDL when JB and AC handed it over to RC and the Leigh, but I noticed that RC seemed a bit beaten down. He wasn't his usual upbeat word spewing self. Short answers, kinda monotone. My immediate thought was he must have read vital right before the broadcast or got the news that his contract wasn't getting renewed.
It's crazy to think that their broadcast team could have been Weege, James Stewart, Daniel Blair and JT.
Instead we get Diffie, RC and Will. At least we still get JT and some Stew.
Pit Row
Weege took over DB’s role as the fill in guy when Leigh cannot be there. It was determined well before the SX season even started that he’d only have 5-6 spots in the booth, I forget what the exact number was.
It’s truly incredible how bad he is and how the broadcast is miles better when he has a smaller role.
Absolutely. A smaller role IS the answer. RC could drop the same clichés and that’s it, nothing more. Leave the heavy lifting to the pros. I think that’s a good compromise. And if that didn’t work, just mute his mic and add Moto track sound like F1.
Blair, Stewart, Weege and J.T.
That's all you need.
Bingo. I quoted because it's truth.
It's well known the new steel frame Austrian bikes are too stiff in many cases.....so yeah, no bro. RC can't get that right either.
Compared to other professional motorsports broadcasting its incredibly bad. I respect RC, his riding and as a smart guy when he's being interviewed, But fuck the SX production and announcing is so bad. Its embarrassing as a moto guy.
I couldnt do better of course but I do other things for a living.
Noticed he’s kinda disappeared since the whole RC and Diff vs Blair issue
at this point i look forward to supercross broadcast to be over with. its terrible. Davey, make sure you lock weege into long term for mx. pay the man and make sure he is well compensated because if we end up with this type of coverage for mx it will be the death of broadcast moto
Ya...you hit the nail square on the head!
It's so bad I have to mute it and ff to the races only.
What really sucks...
Not having the best! Which they had....WTF?
Wegg and Blair, the two together were awesome and even add Langston in for a few races.
JT does a pretty good job, but please clip will or limit her to only a couple of segments.
It seems every 5 seconds it's "will"
Holy mother of God, it's pretty unbearable.
RC might be poor as an announcer but I’m sure he knows more about frame flex than anyone on this board.
The guy has gone thru piles of frames and been on and won on different manufacturers.
Plus he has and is helping design the Triumph's.
I’ll take David Bailey over anyone.
Thank God those comments were hidden due to downvotes! I'd hate to be triggered!
