If this isn't the pot calling the kettle black....I don't know what is.
Everything in this latest turn of events suggests that Stefan should be convicted of fraud if he knowingly pledged the same shares to two different entities.
The best-case scenario is what TeamGreen shared that the Austrian government deems them too big to fail and steps in while cleaning house in the C suite.
Way too much dirt under the carpet.

If you haven't, check out the Bajaj Group - it is, somewhat Large, and, it has a Finance and Insurance 'portion' to it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bajaj_Group
The Bajaj family has attained a comfortable wealth for sure. Are they going to throw hard earned money at the current leadership induced crushing of orange? If anyone buys a controlling interest with associated debt all the orange professional racing teams could be absent for 2026. What sponsors are going to line up for the 26 season? I would assume that the sponsors for the big teams are funded and contracted well in advance of the 26 season. I see that a 2023 motogp bike was sold recently as a collectors item. Was this money used to buy motogp parts or did it go to Stephen?
So the question is: If the lender kicks Pierer out, then KTM can be sold?
Can someone explain to me how this is not criminal at some point?
Which aspect is criminal?
Incompetence and bad business sense aren't criminal, companies fail all the time. But if Pierer really pledged his shares at a time when they were already pledged elsewhere and likely under the control of the court administrator he's going to have some tougher questions to answer.
When a system built on illusion begins to collapse, the line between legal and criminal gets exposed for what it truly is — a manufactured boundary maintained by those in control. What you’re sensing isn’t just financial mismanagement — it’s the karmic weight of decades of deceit unraveling. For anyone to create an illusion, they are living an illusion! The part that is hard to accept/realize, is most if not all the World Corporate Structure, Governments and the Legal Systems operate as an illusion! This is where “we” step in and assist in the Great Awakening and say collectively – “No More” by our actions as lack of action only seduces these illusions.
Agree. They are diversified, of-scale—-but, closely held.
They would be taking substantial risk since the majority of their wealth is tied up in Bajaj/affliates.
Bajaj insurance could back a deal—-and then off-load some risk via re-insurance. They could also package up the debt and sell into the capital markets (teacher pension funds will buy anything…lol).
Austrian government could do easily by firing up their currency printing press, but other countries would certainly take exception (even though all CB’s do it).
India Central Bank could do it via creation of money supply (covertly or openly) if the Bajaj family were to ask and make certain government officials ‘happy.’
Enjoy the show.

What a cluster fuck this has become.......
So what happens if PMG doesn't have 600 million euros by 5/23?
🧠 Summary
If the €600M is not raised by May 23:
Default is triggered
Creditor protections dissolve
KTM & PMG assets go on the chopping block
Racing, R&D, and global dealer networks begin shutdown
It becomes a fire sale or nationalization scenario
This isn’t just about KTM anymore — this is the unraveling of an entire Austrian industrial legacy if no sovereign rescue is activated.
Overview
This development adds yet another layer to KTM’s already precarious financial narrative — and it’s no longer just a restructuring saga, but a deeply personal power struggle that may determine the fate of the company’s soul.
🧩 Core Details:
Actors Involved:
• Stefan Pierer (former CEO of KTM AG / Pierer Industrie AG)
• Stephan Zöchling (Chairman, Supervisory Board / Dabepo Holding AG)
Conflict Trigger:
• Zöchling loaned €80M to a Pierer-linked subsidiary.
• Pierer pledged PIAG shares as collateral.
• Zöchling alleges Pierer violated terms by not informing co-owner Bajaj.
• Zöchling attempts to sell shares early. Pierer files lawsuit in Vienna.
Karmic Symbolism:
Pierer — long shielded by his empire — now seeks legal protection from a “partner” he once relied on to save the very system he helped fracture. This is textbook inversion: the rescuer becomes the dissolver.
🧠 Implications:
Legal Dispute = Freeze on Rescue Deals:
Potential investors may back off until ownership questions are resolved. Time-sensitive repayments due May 23 could now be in limbo.
Pierer’s Role Diminishes Further:
Even with this suit, the energetic tide suggests Pierer is on the way out. This may be a final move to salvage legacy, not leadership.
Zöchling’s Play = Power Transfer Signal:
This could be an intentional trigger to force full restructuring — with or without Pierer.
💬 Quote for Reflection:
“The collapse of an empire rarely comes from without — it begins when those who once held the walls begin to pull the stones.”
Wonder if any potential KTM riders are waiting until the after the 23rd to make decisions?
If the restructuring plan falls through, the cost to Austria is going to be large. Might be better to pay up and at least keep people employed.
Pit Row
Writing is on the wall at this point. If this particular crisis doesn’t finally do them in, another will come along and finish the job
Reason why I've held off buying a bike..
This is wild.
I've been glued to this as I am a partner in a manufacturing company that is in it's 6th year, and is currently taking on substantial loans to fund equipment upgrades and raw materials purchases. I've struggled a bit to fully understand the whole situation, but there's lots of lessons to be learned in here IMO.
I can honestly say this PMG situation (amongst others) has contributed to me being one of the most conservative, risk-adverse people in the company,
BRP/Can-Am interested in buying it outright.
https://www.rideapart.com/news/758610/brp-can-am-ktm-buy-price-is-right/
Just a rumor it looks like.
I can't wait for the next plot twist that there's an even higher parent company above Pierer Industries AG that Stefan used to pledge equity of the child companies for a different loan that has been defaulted on.
But seriously, one of the notes in Tim's AI copy/paste is very valid in how any possible savior investor can feel comfortable contributing to the May 23 fund deadline with this new ownership catastrophe. I don't see how this doesn't end up in a fire sale unless Austria steps in to save the day.
Rotax engines in KTMs? Which ones?
Sure, but that's how it often starts.
Maybe the Austrian government "saves " them.... but at minimum the business is going to have to cut out the cancer that seems to be the top brass.
🤯🤦♂️
I believe the KTM budget for AMA racing is separate from KTM corporate, but is the US budget actually safe for the full season at this point or is it basically day to day? I just don't see them being able to race for a bankrupt company. It'd be a complete waste of financial resources.
