You're over it,well kinda...their over it.....you're not over it,you'll watch Saturday night coz it's on but you're not as into as you were on Jan 11th back in Anaheim
Happens every year
Winter wrapped and spring took off and life feels a little different for everyone...about Seattle ish you were content and your interest started to wander
Start it 3 weeks earlier...Take the week off for Christmas..let the mudders happen in open roof stadiums (part of it) ...be done end of March.
Give them month of April to train for outdoors in May 🫡
I’m still excited for the races. Just not a fan of the 3pm start time again
Crazy how accurate this is for me. With Jett, Tomac and Hunter out I have lost a lot of my interest. Sexton and Webb are both doing their thing, but they’re not my top picks in the class. I’m loving 250s and watch for that, but for the most part just want to get out and ride myself
I've been over sx for awhile and I'm a Chase fan. Just not a huge fan of sx. I got really salty when it looked like we were robbed of Eli vs Jett outdoors but seems like mx is gonna shape up great. Bring on The Great Outdoors!
Lee Duffy and RC have ruined everything.

Hit the nail on the head, this happens to me every single year, by late march I am just focused on getting out riding myself being in Michigan where the weather is turning and most tracks are running. I still am interested in the races but nowhere near as much as in January and February when I look forward to Supercross all week. I do remember being more interested in the late races in the season in the seasons when it was more of a battle to the end. I also think Vegas was a more interesting final round than SLC.
Nope, not over it at all. Watching the best in the world slug it out, fighting for points, riding through injuries, having great nights and bad nights.. I’m all in, same as the last 50 seasons..
Agreed. I just don't give a shit about watching Cooper Webb ride. That's just the way it is. As for Chase I'd prefer to see him up against Jett and Eli. As it is I'm much more into outdoors anyway.
250 east is extraordinarily boring. Again, I just don't care about Old J Hampshire sandbagging for another year, or Tom Vialle crawling along gathering points. 250 west has been by far the most exciting this year. Seeing Haiden 'Patriot' Deegan getting smoked by a 17-year-old Kiwi (with an incredible style) has been awesome.
I’m not gonna lie… I’m not over it at ALL. I’m friggin pumped for this weekend to see if coop can respond. This season has been amazing.
How long till yall start claiming Davies.
I’m so over it I bought the MXGP tv package a month ago for the first time and am so glad I did. The racing is phenomenal as is Paul Malin and the broadcast. Yeah I still watch every Saturday night but between a lot of the big guns being sidelined and the broadcast treating it’s core audience like complete morons I really don’t care anymore.
I don't care for RC, but this is not it.
I'm just an Outdoors purist.
I've always viewed SX as a warm-up for Outdoors.
I’m not a fan of day races for SX. Can’t exactly explain it but doesn’t seem right to me and just never get into them as much.
too many rounds, kills outdoors when several are injured or still not 100% coming back from injury. I didn’t watch last weeks race at 3pm and probably won’t watch this race either. But I know Chase wont win because I picked him in fantasy….I believe SX will end up being 1 large ramp jump with a ring of fire in a walmart parking lot…whoever survives the leap without burning up will be declared the winner …Professional125 will handle driving the large ramp to all the Walmarts in the Northeast during winter, race bike studded tires will be inspected by the AMA but no rule enforcement will be applied….Feld will charge the riders for the fuel used to ignite the ring of fire…Walmart will get exclusive rights to all Cowboy related clothing accessories……I could go on …
I’m kinda over it. But I will definitely continue to watch it. I wish they had more triple crowns. They are a lot more exciting.
17 rounds is about 5 too many imo.
I think it's fair to say the stoke level of January 11th has diminished.
Rapidly
True for me.
Jan/Feb I can’t get enough of it. Watching every gate drop, reading every thread in here, listening to every podcast…
Mid-late March I’m done.
Made worse this year because of the injuries. When it became obvious it was a Webb/Sexton race to the championship I lost interest, now Webb has held a commanding lead I have barely been bothered to check the results.
For most of us when the weather improves we have our own activities to focus on.
Starting in November-December is a good call. Whilst the weather is crappy are we are inside watching tv.
Pit Row
Seconding this. I’m riding the mxbikes track for the mxgp series during the week and watching the respective race during the weekend
I agree with this
Give us 11 SX 11 MX 5 SMX
I don't even care if they mix them around during the season
This! It gets me more excited to go ride .
Plus I enjoy watching the best do thier thing. The alternative is no racing to watch. Screw that!
Agreed
Only way I get the through it is...
Watch replay, ff to racing only, mute entire broadcast and I play some background music instead.
RC, dif, will are constant nails across the chalk board, just can't sit through it.
I was good with weige, Blair, Langston
Yep and align the schedule with MXGP so everyone is primed to go come MXdN time.
I'm not over it. Until the championship is actually decided then I might lose interest a bit. And I'll walk into the landmine of the broadcast quality. I have the MXGP-TV package too, and I feel like it reminds me of what a capable, ex-pro, enthusiast adds to the quality of the broadcast. It reminds of what I deserve when I buy the media content. At least when it's not hanging up, that is one thing Peacock has over MXGP-TV is reliability of the stream.
Yes, I know: peacock is less money, it suits a general audience, they have scripted "info segments" that some marketing phD feels is needed to talk to the general audience during race, I can mute the broadcast, it's not a huge deal to whine about. It's just tiresome to hear about red bull kawasaki and "my phone is blowing up" rather than something about the race or racer that is relevent.
Rant over.
At 6am this morning I was up and making a Bulletproof to start the day and watch qualifying live from Jersey…
So, no, I’m not “over it”.
As for when to start the season: Well, starting the New Season in the New Year…after the holidays is pretty damn nice.
The discussion of what type of stadiums is simple: in the winter and spring…if you’re going to race in open stadiums, you’re very likely to have some muddy races. Enclosed/Roofed stadiums are a fix for that problem…but, many of those stadiums are more difficult to book and it’s been implied that they’re expensive, too.
As for time off between SX & MX? They’ve already taken one of our Nationals for the sake of “SMX”…and then there’s the MXoN after that…Bercy…the Aussie races…etc., etc., etc. …so, if ya want to throw them another week or 2 between SX & MX…you need to clip an SX or 2…and they’re not clipping the cash-cow…even though they should.
Oh…and…why? WHY?!…why should they clip a coupl’a SX races? Because that’s 2 less races that seem to be the most injury prone…that’s 2 weeks you get back...aka…some time off…some time to heal…some time to recover…some time to breathe…sometime to NOT get burnt out.
I’m sure someone will misinterpret this as an “Anti-Supercross” sentiment. Ohhhhh Hellllllll NO!
If I’m anti-anything…I’m Anti-Injured-Rider…I’m Anti-Burnt-Out-Rider.
It’s pretty messed up that people have to defend racing on a motocross racing message board..
If it wasn't for Webb this series would have been cooked. Thank god we have the outdoors right around the corner with the table being reset.
Racers ALL need a little breathing time for recouping with butts not on the seats and pushing hard every day risking injury in the off season.
IMO Supercross happens at the Perfect time. A1 is the first thing going on. There are no other sports going on at that time of the year so stadiums are available and honestly probably at a pretty reasonable discounted amount for Feld.
Nope, not over it. Eagerly wait for every weekend.
)
Especially to watch Chase (damn that Cooper Webb guy, he's too damn good
and especially Cole Davies. Go Kiwi!
that was a boring product. all that midfield racing going on. lots of passes. and its just the sexton show pretty much the entire race. im over these directors trying to build silly narratives.just want to see the racing
