From riding a Supercross track for the first time in November to making the main event just a few months later in March! He was crushing the whoops, too!

Happy for him. They have been grinding to get this result.

Was great to see. Must have plenty of talent, that’s a rapid, and steep, learning curve.

That's insane progression. If he keeps it up, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets an offer from a non factory team, could be some great potentialm

He got 18th.

He  was on the outside of the start gate, and, 'went on' into the first corner  - sort of , a bit past it, and had to do a little bit of a double back.

I'm Not sure, but he may have been last at that time.

A Seriously Great effort from the young ( I think ) bloke, especially with him only being over there since November. I thought he might have been one of those youngsters that have spent a few years ( may have been?) going to the 'States  for Mini races / training facilities, but, it appears not (?) to be the case.

And, him being supported by an African Airline Company, according to our esteemed Boomslang,  is great to see. We need much more of that - outside sponsors.

So great to see him getting into the main!

We don’t have one yet. We have a guy from Ohio that wore a cowboy hat one time and it became his entire personality.

BAR Aviation is owned by Stav's parents. His dad Barak was a fighter pilot in the Israeli airforce many moons ago.

Stav has two brothers. They are all fast on a mx bike. The older brother quit riding to join the Airforce as a helicopter pilot. The youngest brother is still pretty young but you guys will see him in a few years to follow Stav's footprints.

Caleb Tennant is a six time South African Champion. I wrenched for him for 13 yrs. Our last season was the US outdoors in 2019. Caleb quit racing to focus on his Coaching.

Caleb manages the team, trains Stav on and off the bike. Brad is also hands on with Stav.

The 2nd rider on the team is Dalton Venter from South Africa who is faster than Stav outdoors. Dalton only arrived in the US two weeks ago and is preparing for the outdoors.

Stav is just starting to settle on a SX track and his trajectory is heading in a positive direction. Someone above was asking how tall he is.... Stav is 6'2 tall...

Barack just dropped $280K on a rig for the team so everything is coming together nicely.

Happy for all of them dudes.

Edit - Caleb coached Deegan for four yrs and is still helping Deegs when he is out West. Gareth looks after him back east. So Stav and Dalton are in good hands.

Yo great post. Was about to post something about the BAR aviation sponsorship, but this is way more info than I could have ever offered. Super cool to hear all the details

Stav and his brothers are from Kampala, Uganda. His dad is from Israel hence serving in the Airforce there.

Stav O!  On the board with points now too!   Was great to see. He was also a good fantasy pick  for only 10k.

Funny, Weege was saying he was from Uganda but the results show Israel.

It’s cool to see. He came over a few years back with the help of Blake Wharton and did Loretta’s as well.

Any updates on what Stav is up to this year for racing?

I thought I remember him racing earlier in 2026 SX but maybe I’m thinking of last year?

Stav isn’t racing anymore. He is a tandem skydiving filmer in Israel now.
