I'll start with this I hate the broadcasting team. Especially RC. It's been documented on here, he says nothing even though he knows everything. The one bright light every week is JT. It seems like he's the only one there that tries to get better at what he does every week. He's great on pulp as well. Yeah according to vital, I'll be a loser for giving somebody credit but anyhow… I think JT is unbelievable at what he does and gets better every single week. That says a lot right there.
What about JT?

RC was a great rider and champion, he knows the sport as good if not better than anyone else. His problem is he is uneducated. This is not a slam on RC at all he put everything he had into racing and was very successful.
Everyone can have whatever opinion they choose. For me personally, JT's hair cut drives me nuts and the amount of time he spends on his favorite riders needs to be kept in check. Equal exposure for whichever riders are at the front or near the front seems right to me. The braodcast needs to do the same. If there is a good race between a couple guys, that works. Fixating on certain riders when not in the race near the front doesn't help the broadcast.
RC will have some really good insight, but its like one in a hundred. His interview with Gypsy was really entertaining and I thought he did a great job, I wonder why he chokes on his words on the broadcast and is a little all over the place. I think JT does a good job, and we could MAYBE see him in the booth years down the road, who knows. Look at the hoops their making Weege jump through, and hes been at it for a while.
That's a great thought, but it's already been proven that Feld we only have champions in the booth. Look at Blair. So much talent and insight, but just got disrespected and kicked out because he was embarrassing RC with his talent. Could you imagine how dynamic the broadcast would be if it was, Weege, Blair and JT for example? Free flowing opinions, and a professional use of the English language. Enough with these puppets that can't get a sentence out, or it's all chopped up bullshit just because they've won 150 races. It's Crap. I'm all for guys that have been there and done that like Tony Romo, Shaq, and charles ECT, but they deliver. They are themselves when the camera at their face.

Well said. JT is by far the best on the commentary team.
On another note, what the hell is motorama? If you haven't seen it YouTube it... squids just flying into the stands. I have no idea what's going on.Matty Burkeen a fucking legend on the mic and what he does. Can't somebody pick him up and turn his commentary into professional? He's a total diamond in the rough. Nobody loves the sport more than him He needs an opportunity right now.
I could do without JT..... Plus, the fawning over certain riders is embarrassing....
He may spend more time in front of the mirror getting ready than Will.... 😂
Just stick to the race and leave the commentary in the booth for crying out loud.
RC puts effort into his delivery and vocabulary; the improvement is subtle but noticable. If you watch a race he called in his first session vs a recent race, the difference is profound.
I can have an articulate and well spoken discussion/conversation in a work setting when it's organic and coming from the heart and off the cuff. I can also develop a brilliantly worded presentation, but when it comes to go time and the lights and faces are on me, I choke on my words, fumble the delivery and make a mess of it. RC is great in a no pressure setting, just seems like having to say somewhat what you're being told to say and when and when not, is not his strong suit. JT seems like a natural at what his role requires and seems very comfortable and charismatic
Probably the best guy and replacement possible for Blair.
He was also always great with Paulin in the booth at MXON/MXGP races. Hope they put him in the booth outdoors with Weege at some point, while AC does the track side/interview stuff. That would be one hell of the team.
I do really like JS7 aswell, but it seems like he is less invested than last year?
I like the weege/stewart/JT combo. RC is terrible.
Ricky is fine. Yall just love to hate on someone and complain.
Agreed. Lots of Vitards are just bored and like to complain. Back in my day when I walked uphill to school both ways, we had to wait a week to watch the races, normally on at 1am.
Bring back Ralph & Emig….add Stewart.
Gautier does commentary? haha
Every time I hear JT mentioned...
Paul + Malin = Paulin!! That wasn't on purpose tho lol
Haha I was thinking that's what happened but couldn't resist being a smart arse haha
Pit Row
Responses like these about JT or Will saying she spoke with a rider always make me laugh.
Oh you think it’s redundant huh? Almost like…they’re doing it on purpose?
They are like teammates in a bigger picture. The broadcast gives them a specific job to fulfill. Will C isn’t going and talking to riders because she came up with the idea. It’s a role given to her by production. Her and JT are trackside “insiders” who give the viewer a sense of understanding the riders story more as the night unfolds. Whoever is in the booth gives the play by play and they have specific guidelines as well. It’s not a free for all. And blaming JT for talking about riders or Will for having spoken with riders that night is hilarious feedback. If it weren’t either of them there’d be someone in their place doing exactly the same job.
Also, people become fans of a sport or athlete because of their story. You think NBC isn’t using decades of research to run productions like this? They want the casual viewer to hear something about one of these guys or the season or sport and become a fan…because that’s what brings people back.
JT is great on the broadcast and brings great insights to the Pulp show when he's on. I was a fan of his as a kid and I think it's literally because of how much TV time he got with the helmet cam. Happy to see him progressing so well on the media side of things!
That is not it at all. I have been a huge fan of RC's my whole life, as have many of us. It is painful for the people who have admired him for his racing watching him slay the English language and the broadcast week after week. It's like watching your favorite uncle get wasted at a wedding and embarrass himself and ruin the ceremony. Any real MX/SX fan is a huge fan of RCs, it is real anguish watching him broadcast.
Ah I see you are old as well!! 😀
For the life of me, I don't know why everybody gets so worked up about the broadcast. I have it on the TV to watch the races, what is said during the broadcast has nearly zero impact on my enjoyment.
What the hell. Just because he talks in his own videos doesn’t mean he deserves a commentary spot.
So many Vitards think they can do a better job. Why are they wasting their time on this forum when they could be applying for a job with the TV crew?
They don't call em Vitards for nothing ™
I don't know who's balls get gargled more here JT or AC
I think the Cocksey mob has infiltrated vital. He does endless number of videos complaining about the broadcasters, Feld, Davey, Roczen, etc. His minions lap it up, then regurgitate it here with complaints. Rinse repeat.
On another note, have you noticed that AC has changed the way he speaks on race day live? He sounds more monotone now than he was before. I especially noticed it on the Detroit broadcast. His enthusiasm (or at least the way he expresses it) seems to be less.
Or he might be finishing up puberty. 🤔
Is there any subject that you can talk about and not come across as a supreme ass-hat?
