I have expected him to be doing this for years. Maybe he will consistently get podiums now. 

Can someone post that podium interview? I'm in Tokyo at the moment and peacock doesn't work here. Would love to see James talk to him post race. 

He hawked down Sexton. Nice try to discredit but that was a legit win. 

It wasn't a "holeshot and everyone has problems" win, he came through the pack and was about to pass Chase when he went down. That win was as legit as they come, he had the fastest lap too.

Wow! Couldn’t see the race, but a buddy texted me that Mookie took his first win. Proud of the dude. He’s worked so hard, for so long! If ANYBODY “had it coming”, it’s Stewart! 

Does this mean that the Eagles will win tonight??

Hell of a ride! I think a lot of people forget he has an SX title. James was speechless, my wife teared up watching it, haha. 

So stoked for him. My whole family was yelling at the TV. "Cmon Mookie!"

Only one with nerve to enter the whoops at speed. Everyone else entered slower and got slower as they got to the end. Malcom entered fast and even when it looked like he was too far back to make the pass, his competitor got slower at the end and he zipped past. Incredible every time.

Stoked for the Stewart family. Malcolms had a long and crazy path to get to his 1st 450 win. I remember him on his own bikes at the races…2017..? He’s come a long, long way from there. 

It’s nice to see that smile and that stoke back on the top step! Takes me back to Oakland on the 250…

I hope to see more Malcolm with a 1st place trophy in his hands. 

There have been quite a few times that Mookie has found himself up front (or near the front) and looked around like “Where is everyone?”

Not hating at all! I pointed out he was deserving of the win and capitalized on a depleted field. If you think the results would have been the same with a healthy Tomac, Jett, and a host of other riders I’m not sure what to tell you. 

But where were they? 🤔 

Injured, and again, kudos to Malcolm for capitalizing and getting the win.

Just watched the replay after being there in person last night. The call with James in the booth was great. Normally at the end of the main there is a mad rush for the exits. When the candles were lit this time literally Noone moved. It was such a unifying experience. 

I don't know . He was catching and about to pass Chase who has a similar level of speed as the guys you mentioned .   It was a great win regardless .  I had to laugh when  Will's stand in (sorry her name escapes me) said it took 108 tries and he finally wins one , paraphrasing lol .  Malcolm was like hey I'm in the history books , lol .

I was referring to the thumbs downs over Malcom winning that Front242 had brought up....         Pretty fuckin low class to down vote a moment like last night....

No, I get that and hope it has given him a taste that he wants more of. That was a great reply he gave about being in the history books😀👍

I jumped off my couch and screamed " Go Malcolm! " When Chase went down. It was awesome to see him finally get one in the bag!  Last night's race was was crazy in a good way , but also showed how brutal this sport can be. Last week and tonight...the entire championship has turned on it's head. Emotional rollercoaster! 

I can say without a doubt, Malcolm would have won tonight against anyone.

He was on fire, no, he was the fire.

Same...my son and I both lost our shit when Chase went down.  I really like Chase and wanna feel bad for him but, son of a bitch, the clock FINALLY said, "IT'S MOOKIE TIME".
