He has earned it, that is for sure. The kid is the real deal it seems. Reminds me of a young Fonseca, or Reed..... those two were incredible.
100% his style is like a young Reed. The way his body moves around so central with the bike but kinda has this flare of subtle movements.
Deegan started very inside just to cockblock Davies. Go watch it. Made pretty good contact at the apex. He sacrificed his own start just to come out ahead of Davies. Shrewd but not very team focused.

Davies and Juju both been impressive this year. I had Deegan destroying this field. Still time to gain momentum but its so good to see other talent rising with Deegan. Indoors atleast.

Cole Davies is EVERYONES problem right now, he could be the next big thing, speed for days and always looks calm and in control.
He showed some race craft tonight in that third race. Did not hesitate when seeing the opening. I agree though, he’s putting this class on notice. To ride with the maturity he has already and the growth from last year is blowing me away. I’ve pretty much been gushing about this kid since A1 but he really has been that good.
He's like Reed where he's better at sx too. Adams beat him at LL
Deegan is his own problem. He should be dominating this series with a depleted field but can’t get his starts figured out. Cole Davies and Juju are legit, but he SHOULD be beating them both imo.
Juju and Davies are the guys i least expected to be this good, especially cole. I’m honestly surprised that haiden isn’t winning these races, I thought he would be the guy to beat. This season has been amazing so far and will keep being amazing. Things will definitely get heated under the star tent if davies keeps winning these and haiden isn’t winning as much. I want to be a fly on the wall for this type of stuff. Haiden really needs to get his starts figured out, and whatever bike setup isn’t right, I think brian is right when he said they should’ve gotten to cali a lot earlier for testing and stuff like that.

Based on what? Deegan hasn't shown enough in SX to be given that much credit, and his style isn't as compatible with SX as it is MX.
He's still gotta be the favorite for the title against this field and can win any race he starts up front, but at no point has he ever been a guy in SX that can destroy the field or string wins together. Juju can take this thing the distance.
Should because he dominates outdoors? His style of aggressive riding seems to pay off in the playoffs and outdoor tracks. It does sometimes in SX but definitely hurt him on tonight’s slick track at times.
I think the confidence we're seeing in Davies on the podium is telling to how it goes at the test track, too..
I reckon he'd win the banter battle as well haha
