This is exactly what I thought of when I read that. Dude went full dumb and dumber and was just writing IOU on it. 

Every response he’s made makes him look worse. You’re blindsided? You’ve been spending their money on other clients and yourself and writing it down. 🤦 He’s at the point where you “better call Saul”. I wonder how many past clients are digging through their accounts to double check.

With myself being old, living on this earth for over half a century, still don't get how some folks think this kind of shit can not be found.  I'm smart enough to know, especially in the modern era of communication, THERE IS ALWAYS A TRAIL.  From my end. no mercy towards this limp dick whatsoever.....  He clearly has basically raped a strong family who built all they have off of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to their kids dreams.    That family has been through some tough times, just to make sure they could provide their kids with the best they could have, securing their futures as Men, husbands, and possible fathers.....  All to be swindled by a shit bag with access to the cookie jar......    There is a VERY SPECIAL place in Hell for dudes like this.  Let's all just hope he gets a small teaser of what his afterlife will be while his fat ass is still alive.  Liking the Lawrence racers, or not, you have to give them a pat on the back....  Through all of this, however long it has been going on, that family still keeps fighting the good fight, always smiling,  looking for a better tomorrow......  And always ready for the next battle.  Sure wish I could say they were my neighbors......

The demand letter hints at there being issues before all of this public stuff. In their wording regarding the memorabilia and "removable property" it states "...that they have previously requested be returned."

So they already asked for their stuff to be returned and he obviously didn't comply.

If Alpinestars withheld payment wouldn't that mean WMG would also be out their portion from that deal? Surely astars communicated what they were doing and why to the agency/Mirtl and this got the agency's attention.

After reading that "SUMMARY OF THE CASE"  sounds like Mirtl may end up doing some time in the joint once convicted! That's pretty high dollar theft he's accused of committed. 

This is starting to sink in now. This was theft from riders he represented on a very big scale. This wont be a slap on the wrist

Why isn't WMG suing Mirtl on behalf of their client?

But even if they did have legal standing, why would they?  The Lawrences already sued on their own behalf.

No, not for standard representation. But it looks like he setup a separate business opportunity that he managed for the brothers. That would give him full control of the money.

It would really be interesting to see the details of these contractual relationships.  I was under the impression that as an agent, he handled the contracts for his riders.  So the sponsors paid the riders, the riders paid Wasserman their cut, Wasserman paid Mirtl his wages as an employee.  This looks much more convoluted, like he also serving as their business manager in these entities.  As a CPA, some of the things we like to see in businesses to prevent fraud are appropriate documentation, segregation of duties (think checks and balances), and review of transactions.  Looks like none of that was happening.  

If one were to commit a crime for the most amount of money possible, w the least amount of consequences this is the crime to commit. My dad was an attorney and he told me these ponzi guy generally get light sentences and can serve at country club jails.  Espiecially if they can recover money.  The wife may end up screwed as their assets may be seized as repayment. 

Yep that guys a fucking clown  for the shit he's been saying about the whole Lawrence family and the Coombs family for that matter,  ide love to see the cunt sued into bankruptcy.
