Shot a short video of his interaction with a young fan an hour after A2 out n the cold drizzle on a night he finished dead last. Sorry for not being able to figure out how to load my video but this is a screen shot of him carrying on a conversation with a very concerned 5 year old about AP being okay. He has got to be one of the all time more likable guys in moto

Aaron has successfully manufactured his good-old-boy persona, and connects with a ton of fans that are blue collar and take their kids to Monster Truck as well as SX events. He's relatable, and approachable...unlike more than a few factory pros who are simply not, and have an arrogant attitude. More power to AP! 🤠
That is awesome. AP is a class act👍👍
Thanks for sharing this.
Someone who truly appreciates and understands the position he is in.
AP’s just a classic woods guy that happened to be really really good at MX/SX too. Dude is core.
Definitley the kind of guy you could have a normal convo with while drinking a Coors light.

Good on AP. I think he's genuinely a nice person.
I love AP so much that I put him on my Fantasy team for A2....and he killed me.
Perfect explanation!!! 👍
He is an awesome dude!
Awesome guy! Love him.
What bike does he ride in ‘26?
Off topic but this interaction reminds me of cooper webb from arlington last year. He was signing things for the KTM junior kiddos and he never smiled once, and just had a shitty look on his face like he would rather be somewhere else. Those kids look at the pros like superheros. I lost all respect for cooper webb after that. So what AP does with the kids makes me really happy. I love kids and making kids happy. So AP always my respect and I'll always cheer him on
If KTM is still involved in SX/MX next year, they'd be silly to not re-sign him. I doubt he's demanding a crazy high salary, his results are solid and his exposure from things like this is great.
Totally agree. I can’t imagine anyone not liking the guy. Hope his season gets better.
I've heard and read good things about nearly every pro and their interaction with fans, especially kids. Only occasionally bad or negative things. The key is not letting a bad night affect the relationship with fans. And I think that is just awesome. What a cool job to have!
That's what it's all about right there....
Thanks for sharing.
AP has always been a cool dude. He gained so much respect from me after Ernee nations. It’s Tuesday morning at about 5am sitting in Paris airport. I’m sitting by myself, him and Seth Rarick are sitting in some seats right by me. I’ve known Seth for quite a while, but the last thing they want to do or I want to do is bug any of them. AP, who I don’t know really at all, just looks up at me and randomly goes “Yeeeeoooo” and throws up a thumbs up to me. I give him one back and say “thank you for stepping up man!” He’s simply goes “I’ll do it every time”. Immediately became a big fan.
I put him on my fantasy team every week just cause he's my favorite guy to see win. Law of averages says he's going to pay off big time soon. After the last 2 rounds he should be what, about 35K ? Cha fucking ching mutha fuckas Go AP ! 😄
My GF just started watching the series and formed two opinions, stating:
I wanna meet the cowboy, I like him (AP)
I don’t like that smug little nepo-baby (Deeg)
AP’s a great guy, but good guys almost always finish last.
Pit Row
Webb was pissed off his trip to McDonald's was getting held up.
This has been the consensus from the women I’ve watched supercross with these first couple rounds as well. On the nose
Lol 😆
This is the kind of things fans want to see when we say that riders should show personality. Not acting like duches and talk shit..
Did you politely tell her to keep her opinions to herself and get back in the kitchen?
I mean if she's watching SX who's making the sandwiches?
Tough start to the season for AP. He's another one of these guys creeping up on 30. Is this the last year of his deal?
Yes it is.
When it’s all said and done people will remember the person AP is and not wins etc… He’s winning at life as far as I can tell 🤠. IMO the sport needs more guys like him and less record setters.
On the scale of 1-10 of pro guys in MX that seem like you could just sit down, have a beer and a casual conversation, I'm thinking AP is a 10.
Was a one year deal.
He definitely gives sponsors the right kind of exposure. Likeable top 10 guy that could land on the box with some favorable circumstances.
Thor should make him some Chiefs inspired gear for next weekend.
