I've got another one.  When a kid on an 85 comes around you and jumps something your brain didn't even compute as linking together to 1 big jump.  I'm out!

You clutch your shopping cart to get it out of the turns.

You still own a gas burner for boiling your chain

You have hammered a fork leg into the ground to use as a mount for a rotary washing line.

You have air filter nails on your fence.

When you ordered your first pair of pleathers from a Dirt Bike magazine ad featuring several different colors all with “your brand here” down the side.

When your buddy says something about a 'tickler' and your mind doesn't go in the gutter, you're pretty old.

Yes, if you've ever "tickled a Bing".....

Or if you're start procedure included shutting off the fuel and laying the bike over to drain the bowl.

Rubber band starts.

Having to glue a piece of leather on your Highpoints because you have worn through the tip of your toe with the shifter. Damn, that used to hurt!

making sure you bring a baseball bat to the track to straighten out your bars.

Thinking it was so cool to have a jofa faceguard that snapped on to your open face helmet. but if you even touched it, it would fall off.

Ironic considering you’re incredibly sensitive AND the biggest attention seeker on Vital. You’d fit in perfectly well with Gen Z kids

When the 30 second board girls were not girls (not cool).  And then you rode back home from Anaheim Supercross in the bed of a Mazda b2000 hoping you didn't fall out onto the 5 freeway.

All excellent points. lol wish I would’ve done a piece of leather instead of some ugly ass duct tape on my high points. Also, what the hell were those thin ass plastic mouthguards going to protect? If you fell face first you were just going to have an imprint of that Jofa mouthguard forever on you mug.

You wondered why SCOTT didnt just go ahead and include a roll of duct tape in the box with their boots.

When you tell someone that you used to do 'cross-ups' on a jump and nobody has any idea what you're talking about.

When the most fun you've ever had at a Motocross event was burning a couch at a Trans Ama.

When you couldn't wait for your Motocross Action magazine to come in to see how your favorite rider did 4 months ago.

I still work the clutch and throttle in the supermarket, though sometimes I pretend each end of the handlebar on the cart is the engine / tranny controls on my boat so i can practice close handling.

If you ever raced MX in an open face helmet and nobody thought it was unusual

If you've ever had Hight Point (old name for US- A-Star) or Scott Boots.

If you've ever rocked a V1000, V2000 a Venturi or an ALS 1 or 2

Or to tickle an Amal if you rode any British bikes.

If you remember your MXL plastic boots, Castre gloves, Steve Stackable pants, vented jersey, and Simpson Model 50 helmet. I still have all but those MXL boots... 😖

You remember the brand Flipper tear offs and you ran Golden Spectro at 32:1. Your gear oil came in a cardboard qt. and you opened it with a bottle opener. You ordered stuff from an ad in Dirt Bike magazine from Hi-Q products.
