Jo is a mature professional and didn’t want to stoop to Deegan’s level. Anyone defending Deegan or bringing up other riders who ride dirty are either fooling themselves or have their head buried deep in the Southwick sand.

Deegan was trying to hurt Jo. He should have been black flagged and pulled off the track. That was a show of stunning stupidity and cannot be defended as racing in any way.

Looks like the folding lever broke at the pivot point. You can engineer something all you want but if it gets hits just right things can break.

Deegan spent his first couple of seasons trying to run it in on anybody near him, as well as running his mouth. Now he doesn’t have to do it so much because he has superior speed, though he still runs his mouth, just not as often.
