Jason hasn’t had an “agent” in years…not since I was instructed to throw his agent out of the Rockstar rig way back when Jason was on 250s (not kidding:”Get that ass hole out of here…PLEASE! Before I fucking lose it!” Is what I was told by the boss at that team at that time)…Jason ended his association with that douche and hasn’t had what we call -nowadays- a typical moto agent. Not by a damn-sight.
He’s got a manager of sorts that takes care of important things like contract review (gets him LEGITIMATE LEGAL COUNCIL on the matters that require it) & negotiates the deals that Jason wants to pursue and takes care of the things that need to be taken care of. Also, they collaborate on...well…collaborating. Literally. In-fact, I think there’s another collaboration coming up!
Any-hoooo…Jason and anything to do with the typical moto-representation types and the idiocracy coughing up that kinda change for some “bro” that a certain group calls an agent? Uh, no.
Some folks may be offended or butt-hurt by what I’m implying about “agency” in our sport. Sorry, not sorry. There are a few good ones out there, like the group of folks that work for the Deegans…and maybe a few others…one of whom has been assigned to the Lawrences as of late.

i only watched the race replays...so did not one person in the media from RDL to the Winner's Circle ask anyone associated w/ the Lawrence's about this whole fiasco?
Why would they ask them to comment on something anyone with a brain knows they can’t comment on?
Gypsy asked a bit about it in the press conference. It was a softball but that’s the only mention of it I heard.
The most bizarre part about the whole thing is how they did this completely out in public instead of handling it behind the scenes. You can't even get the Lawrences to come on a show like Pulp, but they decide to get rid of their agent, and they do it in a way they knew would make the story go viral and get everybody talking. Then they instruct the media before this weekends race that there should be no questions about this from the media. So Bizarre IMHO.
There’s a post race interview on Geoff’s blog and whoever the interviewer is tried to get him talking.

Now when the involved parties get in front of the story and release a statement it’s “why are they doing this publicly???” Honestly I don’t understand you whiney bitches that find the area to complain about every possible thing under the sun.
Chill down. Legal matters are probably best handled behind the scenes, otherwise you get 25 pages of people who have no clue about any of it discussing it on forums, and of course Cocksey doing videos about it. Some of you guys act like this public press release (if that’s what you want to call it) was the actual firing. Most likely he had gotten fired a couple days later and then finally broke the news once it all got ended officially. There’s zero chance the agency and the Lawrence fired a guy through a press release and not directly. Mirtl acting blindsided is him doing exactly that, acting. Most likely wanted to keep it quiet and they had other plans.
This shit is embarassing. This virtual illiterate makes 1.7M off this sport? Good lord and RC's broadcasting? No wonder we can't get outside sponsors. What a bunch of Yokels.

I could be wrong, but I believe 1.7M is the Lawrences' fee to Wasserman. Wasserman then pays Skinny Jeans a salary to be their handler. Someone correct me if that is not accurate.

so perhaps the 2 biggest stars in our sport publicly fire their agent and accuse him of embezzlement, coupled w/ his agency firing him from the agency. This is all announced on IG knowing damn well it was going to start a shit storm of noise. So we come to the actual races and they just say "Meh, no comment"? Do I follow?? And not one other media member asked them anything?
