Eli’s fast lap was a half second faster than Jett’s

I wanted Kenny to beat Webb just so we’d see his Suzuki with a red plate next week. I’m dying to see a red plate on that bike again and we were just a second away. SO CLOSE!

Good to see Jett getting back to racing. He seemed distracted and stressed out last week. He had a huge smile on his face after that battle with Eli.

People took it the wrong way but Jett was clearly saying it was fun to battle with Eli even if he wasn’t at his best. Jett respects the hell out of Eli. He looks up to him and has never said anything trying to put him down

This right here was what was said and it’s perspective. Jett wants to race true Beast Mode.

Didn’t notice until they showed the replay, but Eli was doing a full-on power wheelie on the second on/off when he passed Kenny. Beast Mode indeed.

What an absolute banger race. Love seeing Tomac able to hold off a hard-charging Jett straight-up. Sexton has insane speed as well.

This could be an absolutely insane season. Shades of Carmichael/Stewart/Reed.

Good race. I think Jett knows Eli speed. Jett can match it. Don’t throw championship away in first five races. Impressed with Sexton working up to #6.

Anyone heard anything more on Avery Long's condition?  (I only heard what was said on the broadcast.)

Call if nostalgia. But the Reed, Bubba and RC battles were the peak of the sport for me. The podium Was predetermined most weeks. But those fights for top spot were just amazing.

If we get that again with Eli, Chase and Jett that will be epic.

If Sexton, Jett, Eli and Kenny keep riding like they have these past 2 races, Daytona is going to be ridiculous.

Ricky was better and more informative on the post race show when he can slow down a bit.

Amazing race. Huge props to JT as well. He probably has the best insights and vocabulary out of the whole broadcast team, he's really well spoken this year I think. I wish RC would step up his game, such an epic battle and the excitement and insights from him was luke warm. RC trying to muster up hype and explain the importance of Juju's first win was so dull. It's a shame he probably gets a pass from his boss's for being the goat.

Maybe Lawrence was relieved that he could run Eli's speed, after hearing about the Legend for half of his life.

Eli’s speed on that 180/180 to straight section was insane. He was jumping that single almost the entire length of the first straight. On the gas hard, so impressive.

Yea he was yarding Jett in that section every lap. Once Eli figured out that inside line in the sand it was over
