At this level of dysfunction, PM AG is cavorting with those who make and change the rules. Behind closed doors, anything goes when you're in bed with representatives of the Elohim/Archons. Definitions of BK or Re-Struct...can and will vary. None of this is about what is correct and or moral. It is all about power and control.

Bro. I thought it was for the benefit of the stock holders, creditors and employees. None of them seem impressed.

You can't. You can block a user so they can't send you a PM, but that's it.

GT Bikes are rare in EU just mostly cheap market bikes. Maybe their future can continue at US with bmx in other hands.

Pro Tip :  less ball busting would result in far less responses by myself.

In fact you will find far less anguish because it’s exponential in clown city.

I may regret this but I’m curious: why are you using a Hebrew word for God and the Greek word for ruler as though they are interchangeable? Archon makes some sense if you’re using it to refer to the “real rulers” since that’s basically what it means but it seems unnecessary and pointlessly pretentious - like when jurists start throwing around Latin legal terms when talking to non-jurists. But Elohim? And why that name and not, say Yahweh or Jehovah or Adonai?

Did they leave or get fired? Seems like options would be few so to leave on your own accord would be a bold move

The wording I've seen is that they are departing the team, not sure the details. I don't think it's been announced what other teams they are going to. Trek is still fielding teams but loosing some heavy hitters.

Reece Wilson, Bohdi Kuhn, and Loris Vergier are leaving the DH team.

Jolanda Neff and Anton Cooper are leaving the XC team.

Truly the only part missing is the total collapse of the financial system.

Massive credit to David Emmett. His reporting on this whole matter has been excellent. And he, like all the moto journalists has no background in finance but he has taken the time and effort to learn and report like a proper journalist would do. It's sad that nobody in our field has done this, everyone has buried their head into the sand and just said they are not qualified to report on it.

I have read the free versions of  Moto Matters for years and listened to the MotoGP podcasts that Emmett is on. But his reporting of the KTM crisis has made me a subscriber.

It might be hard to even think about but...what are the odds the KTM team doesn't make it to A1 or the full season of SX or any MX in 2025? I am sure they had a budget for the season, which I highly doubt is ever fully funded at once at the start of season training. More like money is sent monthly to the team for racing expenses. But with all the fallout so far, it is not looking good for them at all.

I believe Supercross is run by KTM North America, which is a completely different business entity than KTM/PMG.

Empires take a long time to fail, but the end comes very quickly.  It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out...

So, KTM NA is not affected by the PMG deal at all?

David Emmett is the best, very thorough analyses, keen eye and great passion for the sport.

Good on you to support an independent journalist and help him deliver his outstanding work.

Doesn't seem that cut and dry to me. But that's what he said.

DE said we should get a better idea tomorrow.

"In theory, KTM's racing project should be unaffected. Factory Racing AG is a separate company under the Pierer Mobility AG umbrella, and has not been included in the insolvency proceedings. The problem, of course, is that much of KTM Racing's revenue comes directly from KTM AG and the motorcycle brands it represents.

[...]

If KTM's racing program is to survive, there are two paths it can pursue.

The first and most obvious one is for the Pierer Mobility AG to persuade the insolvency administrator of the importance of racing as part of KTM's marketing.

[...]

The second, and perhaps more likely outcome is that Red Bull step in to purchase Factory Racing AG from KTM and run it as a separate concern.

[...]

But all of this is speculation. We should have a much clearer idea of what is happening after the insolvency administrator gives his first report to the court on Friday morning."

Yeah, me as well. You'd think KTM NA is directly related. I am also wondering how hard are the KTM riders going to push it knowing at any minute their ride could be over if KTM folds. I mean...there is nothing to ride for in essence at some point.

They are affected to the extent they rely on money from Austria to fund operations. That money stream could be turned off at any point, then they are limited to sponsorship money and any other sources of revenue they can create. Maybe they can sell tours of the new race shop or rounds of golf with Roger D.
