Adam’s dominated this yr like no other rider in yrs.   Janik grew like 2 ft in 18 months, body coordination is catching up late in the yr. He,s racing a lot too, doing 250,450 pro ams .  He’s basically a Huffman, Jmb smoothness. I see him being as good as Chase.

Comparing Janik to Huffman is a bit of a stretch.  Janik (who turns 19 in January) is still an amateur.  Huffy was winning Supercrosses at 17.  A little bit of Chicagoland bias, perhaps?

I agree Huffman lead the 95 Nationals in points too.  I studied his riding style every vet should, get smooth let the bike do the work. I saw him holeshot a qualifier at red Bud 3 1/2 4 months after his acl reconstruction .  Dam he was smooth. Janik is similar in smoothness tho.

Amateur racing sells bikes for sure. Id say even more then pro racing does. As a kid you wanted whatever bike the fastest kid was riding at your local races. Back in the day I wanted an rm85 BADLY, every fast kid rode one and there amateur team in the early 2000’s was unreal.

Where’s Janik going ?  He had a bad 1st moto crash at LL.  Red bud he did good the next day had a great 1st moto in Canada. He went 2-2 at the last Canadian national.  So he’s riding great.

Black bikes...

“Lose” implies they were trying to keep them. Im pretty sure Kawasaki would describe it differently. “offload” comes to mind.

I promise you that Kawi wanted to keep Austin, Dudney, and Wood. Janik I’m not sure.

Forkner to Triumph and Dudney to Star, what about Janik? Seems crazy to sign these kids on supermini, and them leave before they turn national pro. Do amateurs sell bikes? What's the benefit of Kawi or others having amateur teams if those riders wont be with them in the pros?

Kawi didn't lose Janik, they didn't offer him a contract extension. As far as where he's going, who knows. He hasn't been up there since he got on big bikes unfortunately.

Contracting amateur riders is beyond stupid.

Produce now or hit the road is maybe not the best way to work with talented kids.

If I had a kid at that level, I would take a team Green offer instead, they at least show some patience and loyalty.

Totally disagree,  you don't think they were patient with romano and thrasher?

Prado won't win a race here next year. Doesn't have that top end speed of Jett, Chase, Eli ect. Stamp it.

Outdoors? You're crazy. He's not winning a sx, no

yea, and has hit the deck a bunch,  and has had more than one contract from star now.  That's still patience in my book.

How can Kawasaki afford to pay Deegan massive money they gonna ask after they just got Prado that would be one of highest paid guys after Lawrence brothers?

One Lawrence brother is highly paid, the other is mid rode.

Prado has to be a top tier paid rider, monster foot the bill?

If you aren’t expected to win a SX race in the US (Jett, Tomac, Sexton), you aren’t in the top tier of pay here in the US.  Prado isn’t expected to win one this year.  I’d be willing to bet he has some pretty nice contact accelerators in his contract if he can, though.

Kawi also gained Aidan Zingg. Seems like there's less of a link to the pro team than at Yamaha because those ams are Star riders while the Team Green ams aren't PC riders. The best plan if you're not a generational Deegan/Lawrence talent is probably to be a Team Green am who turns pro with Club or BarX, develops for a couple years getting used to the pro schedule and race pace without the pressure and expectation of winning, then take the next step to a factory ride like Hartranft and Nichols did.

They straight up swapped Janik for Wey, same number and all. I wonder where he'll end up?

Kawasaki isn't hurting for money

With some of the deals they've had this summer, they sure are hurting to sell some bikes and UTVs.

Sport bike sales are seeing a nice spike this year for Kawi. Just sayin'...
