Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
I think that was American Honda doing that, HRC was flying senior Japanese executives over and having secret meetings with him in hotels.
MXA and Keefer can be brought for much less.
They lost Jerermy and Ricky. Some mid management person had a beef with these 2 superstars.
Apparently he is allowed to spend his win bonuses on cars etc and the rest is invested.

would be interesting to see Honda's bike sales #'s the past 2 years. Doubtful there is a big increase due to Jett's winning.
I ride in the 50 Vet class in SoCal, 10 of my friends were on KTM 450 F.E. in 18,20,22....we all switched to Yamaha YZ450 in 22+23. Not due to Eli or Coop or Ferrandis riding BluCru or winning Championships. It was due to the YZ being a really good bike.
The Hondas aren't selling in Australia. Honda was selling the 24 models for around 10k not long ago. List price price is 14.5k aud
If Honda throws the big bucks at him it won't be because they want to sell more bikes, it means they want championships. There are rarely Hondas here at the tracks in the PNW..it's all Austrian and blue bikes with some green and red sprinkled here and there. Maybe a yellow bike every other visit lol.
Chumpy
I feel there has been a big increase in Hondas at the track in Qld especially.
Probably cos of the run out prices they've been doing. I mean i was tempted at 10k. This time last year there weren't many at the track, especially at the races. Maybe a few more at the ride parks but i wouldn't say they are popular
Keefer could be bought for a couple of beers.
"I heard', "I heard", "I heard". (I just made up)
There are gonna be Honda guys buying kids bikes, quads, sxs, generators, mx, road bikes etc for the next 40 years all based around Jett the little ripper being their fav rider in this era.
There are going to be kids named Jett whos grandkids ride Honda
Tax write offs don’t make things free…
lol those cars are less then 5% of his total earnings in a year. I don’t think he needs any advice on finances.
If he drank…
Also, that's some accounting gymnastics to write a car off for someone like Jett. RE agents stretch that kind of stuff but they actually have a semi valid claim, buying something and claiming an expense when it has nothing to do with your revenue generation is tricky and can raise all of the red flags.
They did, but it was the following year when he was half way through the suzuki deal.
They just write it off! (Kramer)

Carlton zero! You are top notch matti. Thats my go to on the day sports drink
Lot of tax esquires in here these days.
That is life in general. Everything could end tomorrow.
Does no body listen to the broadcasts. He was asked some questions about money after his SMX win and said he has money invested in real estate and a financial advisor and is all good. Said he might buy a Porche or some other toy with the million.
i thought jett was the dancer?
Seen one at a dealers yesterday for 10k.
I thought, lets bring "old skool beer sponsor" but with all the regulations in the world, just bring in a 0.0% alcohol one in the game hahaha. The days from Camel or Coors sponsorships are probably behind us, but who knows one can make a return as "Coors Edge". I'm curious about what the big contract will be, do we already know?
I imagine that from the small brands into our sport to the big ones all want a piece from him. Alpinestar is probably paying him enough to prevent this but you've seen and sometimes you still see it: riders who ride with Sidi, AStar or Gearne boots - some brand of clothing such as Fly, SHOT, O'Neal, FXR, Answer clothing and Airoh/Bell/Arai/6D... helmets and then above that even another goggle deal. But a lot is now already controled by the wholesale distributors, they like that the riders are fully dressed in brands from them.
Having meetings with who?
In his book about 20 years ago, he wrote about being no thrilled with the aluminum frame at the end of 96. But the real downer was American Honda trying to add stuff to his contract about things like being in videos, riding other brands of jet skis(which Honda didn't even make) and trying to control his image. Honda Japan actually was trying to smooth things over to get him to stay.
If you guys are interested in some real team dastardly stuff, the Honda ATC stuff is where it's at. Manager's opening other rider box vans and letting other mechanics smash cylinders and such. (each rider had his own tuners and sponsors) I forget his name, but that team manager actually ran the MX/SX team for a while.
