The question is, who is everyone talking about? It's called publicity.

Bingo.. and if The Deegz gets to clash with Jett in 2-3 years.. it’s going to be a battle of the instagram/youtube fandoms at each and every race. Lol.

Only one way to fix this issue if you are young Deegs.  Grab EVERY holeshot.  Because if you don't you can expect to be pinballed around like every other rider in the pack.  Here's a clue...the guy in front controls the racetrack.  They don't have to move out of the way for you.  Young man has a lot of talent AND a big mouth.

I can hardly wait until he moves up into the Big Boy class.  It will be like July 4th every weekend for awhile.

If you ride wide open everywhere it can’t be your fault.  Like the drunks or that new texting and driving ad: “how did that other car all the sudden get in the way?”

Jett smartened up and toned it down over the past few years.  He realized that he can just take his trophies and money and go play golf in his free time.  Deegan may take longer to grow out of Danger Boy and into Captain 450 if he gets there.  He’s talking unspecified surgery after the season.  I was worried about him coming back too soon from the wrist but it could be anything he says doesn’t affect his riding.  Maybe brain surgery like Forkner but to remove an overactive danger amygdala.

It's Vital man....

The unhinged Deegan haters need their impotent thumbs downs to make themselves feel relevant.

For the record...I'm a fan of the kids ability to ride the way he does.     Kids also got guts and drive.     In some ways, reminds me of  of the old school greats.    However, those comparos end when he starts with the dude/sick/bro speak.

There's nothing unhinged on this thread except you.  People are making valid points about Deegan's shitty behaviour toward his competitors. He behaves in an unsportsmanlike manner constantly and calls out people for things that aren't even their fault - such as the Hymas incident. If you think Deegan has a point in this instance you clearly have not watched the video. The fact that you actually like the way Deegan behaves - and his FMX areshole father who clearly puts him up to this stuff for social media clicks - shows a lot about you. But It's not unexpected coming from the guy that gloats when riders he doesn't like get injured.

“Rough weekend. Start was dialed in moto 2 but tried to catch myself from falling and was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ankle is pretty banged up but going to do what I can to be ready for Washougal🤙”

Deegan will only apologise if the family's social media metrics indicate the fans are turning against them. Remember when he hit peak arsehole during SX and then realised it wasn't going down well with the fans?  The very next week he was thanking God and being the clean cut family guy on the podium.

Brian Deegan is directing this clearly, and the guy's a phoney FMX arsehole. I hope Haiden has the good sense to get out from under his father's crappy influence.  He's already 100x the rider Brian ever was, which is why the latter went to FMX - the place where shit riders (except TP) who can't race end up.

Deegan isn’t a complete lunatic on the mic…he made a comment about Chance cutting across like they do at the start and then said he’d have to check the footage to see if it was clean or not.  He said he’s d be a king of aggression if he had to that people think of as crossing the line but overall the interview didn’t go that bad…he just wants people to know he won’t back down.  If it really upsets you then just enjoy the race with his helmet on like some announcers claim to get muted (unless he does a stupid takeout move).  It was funny someone’s comment about the official only helping him up but that may be on his side of the track and the others already all set.

Right, someone would make a decision to purposely put their foot in someone else’s wheel going 40+mph and risk getting a career ending injury.

Your logic adds up for sure lol. Deegan fans are relentless.

If I were a Deegan fan (a big 'if' there), I would perhabs argue that he said that in the heat of the moment and didn't see the replay. But after listening to the post-race interview with Lewis, Deegan went even one step further, saying Hymas had an eye on him this whole season.

I’m a real big fan, and every time he says something like what he did on the podium I get fired up! This isn’t fuckin figure skating or soccer this is the gnarliest sport in the world, and we have too many quiet, humble guys. I hope someone asks him if he thinks he pushed it too far with that last comment since Hymas could be out a while…The response should be something like “hopefully he gets that thing fixed right, cuz he’s got one coming, whenever that may be.”

Are you 12? Everyone on this site knows how gnarly this sport is, and we all (well, most of us) know it doesn't need to be made gnarlier by an entitled prick throwing an on-track tantrum because a guy dared to challenge him.

This is the issue...the entitlement.  People are calling it scripted and an act but I really think this is who he really is.

He's the product of living in his own echo chamber all his life and never heard the word "no".

He's the Jack Doherty of Motocross.

Edit:  for your own sanity, don't watch any Jack Doherty content.

I don’t buy in to the ”it’s all Brian” talk neither.

In a regular post or pre-race interview Brian could be able to tell Haiden what to say. But the acting on track and the first words that comes out of his mouth as soon as he takes his helmet off after the race is the pure words of Haiden.

Same as the times he has rode around in the pits in his UTV and went after Brennan at Lorettas or when he went past the HRC rig to laugh and point at Hunters broken bike.

The loretta incident just show how Brian and this whole family act and think that they are above the rest of the world. Instead of accepting that the bike were claimed by the rules Brian managed to get in a room with Brennan to question him out.

And at that time Brian and star should have told Haiden to not interfere and put a leash on him, but they let him roam free and just stir more shit up.

This kid needs a real humbeling and maybe the Deegans have missjudged the real MX fans from the FMX fans that Brian won acting like a clown.

IMO he needs some media coaching, instead of ‘I’m the king of riding dirty’ comments.  But does this comment mean he acknowledges he is a dirty rider?

It would be funny and maybe ironic if the rest of 250 class took turns at taking him out.  But first they would need to catch him.

I actually think that he is a clean rider on track. He make clean passes and other than the Smith SX incident he has not done anything that i can remember? So the king of dirty is also just talk from his side.

How is this 4 pages long? It was a simple non-intentional racing incident and Deegan spoke without seeing the footage first. Y'all turning into fake news keyboard warriors in here. Creating problems that don't exist.

Deegan got crowned king on us if he wants to stir up some controversy.  He is a YouTube prodigy and that’s how he has lived in front of the camera just like all the other attention ho’s on there.  “Don’t forget to like and subscribe” isn’t a heading I grew up with but it would make for a good tattoo.

OP is right. Why so hostile? It was an accident.

Because the post title calls it a "takeout".  Takeout is intentional, an accident is accidental.  So OP is not right.  They called it a takeout when it was an accident.

He clearly tried to trip Deegan’s bike…. 🙄

Man, I love watching the kid ride, but sometimes his attitude gets in the way. Like Chance is really looking back at him going WFO into a muddy first turn. Pure racing incident guys charging hard to the first turn. Probably felt a little foolish after watching the video
